-If we lose to Vandy, GC gets canned and BVG takes over
-The powers have already hired BP
-The powers have already hired Jimbo
-JJ, Chizik, etc are puppets for the suits
-We lost, and still didn't fire GC
-All will be known 12/1/12

ETA:

Posters pointing out BP character flaws.

A bunch of speculation and 3rd/4th hand info. Most think Chizik is gone, but most think that it will be at the end of the season.

In related news, I read that Chizik's mother pass away unexpectedly yesterday or today. That may have contributed to him not being axed over the weekend.

If this is true, prayers sent to the Chizik family. No one would fire someone on the day they lost their mother.

That said, I think he will be the coach throughout the rest of the season. I don't think that there is any good in him being told to leave mid-season.

But the difference between the coaches (other than Petrino's 0-4 record vs Saban) is one of them leaves programs better than he found them, and the other one leaves dumpster fires in his wake.

bullshite...

Petrino didn't tell Louisville and Arkansas to replace him with a shitty head coach. LSU made a good hire after Saban left and that's why they continued rolling.

Not taking sides in this particular argument, but it should be noted that Saban didn't exactly cover himself in glory dealing with rumors of his departure from Miami - who promptly went 1-15 the year after he left for the Capstone.

Oh, and don't forget he talked Sparty into hiring his old pal Bobby Williams, who stumbled to a 16-17 record and was fired halfway through his third season after his starting QB was suspended for substance abuse, his #1 RB was arrested for dragging a policeman with his car, and he lost to Michigan 49-3.

So LSU may have been the exception in Saban's career where he left a program in better shape than he found it.

Add to that, he suggested LSU hire Houston Nutt when he left.

I don't give a shite how we do it, just win double digit games. If that means winning 75-73 and showing our hoops team what a score should look like then fine by me.

Yeah I left out the NFL tenures of both coaches on purpose because this isn't the NFL and success or failure there has basically no bearing on success or failure in college.

And to whoever said that I think Kraigthorpe is a good coach Guess I should've put one of those disclaimers in there like I did for John LOL Smith.

Take that line, copy and paste it, and make a post on the Tiger Rant. How long did everyone talk about Les winning with Sabans players? The guy is supposedly an offensive guy but his playbooks look like something pulled out of Tecmo bowl.

What I am hearing (PM):

Not likely anything will be done before year end (no real advantage in doing that)

Some like Bobby, some hate Bobby, unlikely to be a coach in the SEC because of this.

Everything else is speculation...

The advantage is your team could potentially play better and rally around the new guy -- a firey personality like BVG could do that.

In 98, we played better after Bowden left... that was my perception anyway.
