I had to step away for a bit and laugh at UF.

I think Freeze called a decent game offensively. I hate we changed the defensive scheme on OU’s last drive.

Jackson is a gamer, he’s a fine QB but still needs some growth. Does hold the ball to long but some of these plays require the play to develop. Was an up and down day for him for sure. He won the Baylor game for us and contributed to us losing today overall. I think he played as well as Mateer today and both were under duress the entire game.

frick these fricking refs. Game should have been 17-3 or 17-6 late in the 2nd quarter.

Why does Jake Thornton still have a job. We spend all this money on portal guys on OL and are poorly coached and can’t pick up a simple stunt rush. We don’t fire off the ball ever. We commit a massive amount of penalties in every big game. And yes Arnold probably cost the team 4 sacks but 10 other plays are on the OL for 6 sacks and 4 other tackles for a loss. Granted I’m not sure we will face another front 7 as good as OU’s the rest of the season. I don’t think they are the best defense we will face but that front is nasty.

VKW is a coaching star. Dude gets his guys to just line up and play their asses off every play.

Special teams are horrific. I can accept a block in the back on occasion that happens to everyone. Missed alignments, penalties, bad snaps, short punts come catch the damn punt. Don’t catch the punt on your goal line. That’s coaching. We have a first year special teams coach but damn it looks the same. Every special teams play is like a circus clown trying to herd cats.

Lastly I thought coming into this season this 3 game stretch of OU, aTm, and UGa if we could get at least 1 win I’d take it. If we could get 2 great. Won all 3 and watch the frick out. Meaning today hurt because of obvious reasons. We have to win games but we need a redeeming win for the team morale and fanbase. Maybe 1 comes next week maybe not or maybe we win the DSOR. I’ll take 1 of the 2. Both preferably but not 2 losses.

I will never change. WDE for life.

Sucks to lose a game like that. For all the bullshite that went on in that game (and yes, we got royally fricked) we got the ball with 5 min. left with a chance to drive down for the winning score and we couldn’t get out done. We went backwards. Even took a safety. Freeze had absolutely no answer for Venables defensive calls in that last drive. The game came down to one drive, and Freeze got out coached. It is what it is.

Well after we tried running it couple times on that possession and had a hold and 2 false starts plus time ticking off the clock we kind of had to pass. The dominated the interior pass rush and then Mason got blown up of the safety. Not a whole lot we could do after the penalty

First off: this is the first real game where we got to see what Arnold's like as a QB, not as a RB. Arnold is pretty average when he doesn't have his legs which is what I feared.

The Oklahoma DL twists really messed our QB up. I saw it for myself. I saw a DL shoot inside making there appear to be a gigantic hole at the 3 technique just for the late arriving DL also involved in the twist meet him dead in the hole. Holes that were there weren't there...

Yes poor throw on that one. I said JA made plays to win and also made plays to lose. The other “over throw” Cam checked up on the route.

Gotta play every play with maximum effort.

There are no perfect game plans, perfect players, or perfect execution. For those looking for that will be very disappointed most games regardless of winning or losing.

There are three teams on a football field. Home, Visitor and Zebras. When the zebras come in and make a serious mistake to start a game….they never disappear. When you add a group in Birmingham from the Boy’s Club….it gets worse. The feeble attempt to cover the mistakes several hundred miles away, makes the SEC look far worse.

For the first time in years, I had to go outside to keep from yelling at the box.

Sackson is not good. He holds the ball longer than Payton Thorne.

I guess with QB, Hugh has a type. SMH

Unfortunately I think you are exactly correct. His overthrows on a couple of plays looked a lot like Thorne though, gave me traumatic flashbacks to the past two years….

I believe if we had a real forward-looking coaching staff we would put Deuce in as QB next week. There is no way we win tight SEC games against good defenses with Arnold as QB.

This is what happens , AGAIN,when fanbases and teams get fooled by playing inferior competition to start the season. They think they are better than they are

Arnold is barely better than Throne. He is being coached and led by the same bafoon Throne was and he will end up being the same. And Auburn?

The same as the last couple years. Auburn may beat one team this year but there will be many losses. Unprepared, penalty ridden and not equiped to beat our rivals

Same

And you are right, Auburn was totally fooled by OU's Dline movement. Its almost like we have not seen anything like that before

You know why? Because we were busy beating up on cripples the beginning of the season

Georgia, TAM,Bama, Vandy, Missouri are going to own this team and this fake arse coach

I've watched that fumble and score many times and the receiver had that ball and took two quick steps before he was stripped.

Those refs were incompetent, corrupt or both.
