I want them to put a patch on the jerseys for the season that is just the number 9. Similar to how soccer teams will put stars around their logo for their titles, add the patch to our jerseys and update as needed.

I’ve been busy but this thread read was wonderful. I remember as a young kid, mad at the world in 83’. Couldn’t believe it. Also 93’ felt like we should have been given a share of it as well. That UF game was magical and that team was special. 2004 was another - ‘the media just hates us’ moment. Every one of those were deserving and earned on the field whether given the credit by some bias nerd with a pen.
Congrats Auburn family, coaches, and players! Cant wait for the halftime recognition of the national champion teams in the coming years! Terry Bowden, Tubberville, and Dye all Champs! Great seasons! The best!

Glad to see 1983 and 2004 in there. 1983 still pisses me off. That year Auburn's schedule was the toughest I've ever seen. If I recall it right, Auburn played 5 teams that ended in the top 10. Miami couldn't hold a candle to that.
Absolutely lost all respect for the media and coaches for voting to crown the Miami weak myth. The NYTimes computer had Auburn way ahead and that was before the computer ratings were watered down.
