We gotta get this nil/revenue sharing figured out quickly. Finally building up our roster only to lay a turd before the season even starts is mind blowing

We're struggling now but we're talking about the 2026 class. No schools class is solidified now.

Friend you must remove your head from the sand, this isn't 2005 when the "It's July" thing may have had some validity. Signing Day is much earlier and many schools classes are basically filled. Can we pull some flips with a good season and enough money to salvage something? It's possible. But having 6 (and dropping) mid commits in July is highly concerning.

Only hope is Freeze is going the Deion route and planning to save all his money for the portal.

oh yeah, just totally made up bullshite. Not like our rivals would ever use a life threatening disease as a tool to negatively recruit our players. Just made up fan fiction stuff

So the lawsuit sounds like 20.5 mil for each school........How will that be divided by sports program within the school?

What about the new SEC TV contract, thats probably 10 million per school, what happens there?

The new Nike contract, whats the financial impact?

The new "board" that will decide what is NIL and what is not allowed, what are the guardrails?

Lets figure out the aforementioned before we start offering checks our arse cant cash. The recruits will be there three months from now.

PS we just signed Hezikiah's brother, if he flips his brother will have to find a home.

PSS what on earth are we taking a safety transfer for, we got them stacked like cordwood, go find me a couple more good DTs.

The minimum is 20.5. FSU for example is allocation 22.5 million and it can be dispersed however the school wants.

My hope is we've decided on my plan to use all the money for basketball until Bruce gets his title.

Literally came to post that Nakos tweet.

Think about all of the battling we had to do to hang onto our classes at signing day the last 2 years and how some big time guys got away from us because of it. A commitment today means nothing. None of us heard about the QB flip from Penn St until it happened. They are keeping things close to the vest this year and I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.

What's the implication? Other schools are paying fake money and saying our coach is going to die and that's why we are recruiting on par with mid g4 schools?

A lot of schools are making big offers not knowing if they will actually be able to deliver legitimately. I would not be shocked if there ends up being more civil suits like UF had with Jaden Rashada.

So this is the new version of "everyone doing better than us is cheating" to justify our failures?

It's pretty obvious there is something going on besides incompetence.

Doesn't seem like its cancer...

Yep and we’ve had plenty of time to be prepared for the revenue sharing agreement. None of the ruling was a surprise

I don't know. Either donors holding out or administrators extremely cautious but either way Freeze is handcuffed right now. I barely know of Freeze but I know he is better than 89th in the country.

All we have heard is how aligned everyone is? Why all the sudden start holding out on him?
