Footsteps Falco?

Apparently Penn State wanted him as QB2
According to video Falzone was visiting Penn State when he committed?

PSU wanted him to play TE in college so it makes sense for the flip. He wants to be a QB.
isnt that Auburns standard move? If he cant play QB, then try to move him to TE.

Yes, but we have to bitch about it first. If we recruited Nick Marshall out of HS with his skill set, people would lose their minds.

Seems to be SOP.

Synopsis on what Ive seen on podcasts and print.....
Falzone wants to be a QB and Penn State offers as TE. He goes to some camps and gets some interest as QB so Penn State offers as QB, they already have a highly ranked QB in the class.
He goes to regional camp for Elite 11 and his weaknesses become evident and he realizes he will need some work. Auburn comes along says it will take a couple of years and they both agree.
I think his ranking as 11th is based on the fact he is fast, elusive and six foot five. He also has a very strong arm. On the flip side his highlight film shows some Brett Farve throws, across the body, across the field, 50 yards downfield into double coverage....and these are the completions, explains why his completion rate is 52%.
Seems like a great pickup for a kid who will be willing to take a couple of years to develop.
Now spend that money on some OL/DL

Except for Phillip Rivers. Skipped the part about playing QB and went directly to TE offer...

I really don’t understand what is going on with us losing recruits. It appears that we are not offering NIL deals as we work to stay under cap. Meanwhile Bama and UGA are snagging 5 and 4 stars. Don’t tell me their payroll is not much larger than ours. What in the world are we doing

I received this text
Do we even have 2 people committed to flip?

I’ve been pretty quiet about it but I’m noticing we seem to be off as well. Hoping we’re playing the long game but it doesn’t feel good right now.

It is definitely strange. Not getting around that.

Apparently we are picking up a safety transfer from Texas A&M, Jacoby Mathews.
