Fallen to 6 on the On3 rankings. I suspect that will keep dropping.

Before this abomination of a season, I would have been really disappointed but top 10 with a losing record is better than shitting the bed in recruiting too. Call that copium or whatever. I am also thinking of the situation if Hugh gets fired after next season at least we have a base core of recruits to rebuild though it will be a super tough situation holding on to who we have.
ETA: Also why it’s good to have cleaned up on instate recruits this cycle who will be hopefully easier to hold on to than out of state ones.

Are y'all really crying because AU's 5-7 asses in the middle of a rebuild are top 6 and not top 3?!?!

We lost our top OL recruit and are currently sitting with one cb and hoping to retain the other. We are gonna keep falling as was stated earlier. Disappointment is understandable.

We're tired of everything involving Freeze being overpromise and under deliver. A #6 class is great but not after reasonably expecting better. Rebuilding was to be expected when Freeze took over; having worse record against similar competition year two was not.

We have to no doubt go to the portal. I’m starting to have doubts about closing on areas of need though. OL especially.

In the NIL era that gap between the haves and the have nots will get wider and wider every year. Does this class help close that gap?

That’s it. NIL is quickly creating NFL pipeline schools. The money and brand are key now.
And WINNING does matter. These guys want to get paid for college and try and win some big games while they fight to get to the NFL.
Bo Nix is a prime example. He would’ve neber been spotlighted at AU like he was at Oregon.
