WTF are you talking about? I have not made shite up. There have been plenty of people who said this years finish didnt matter. Plenty. It matters and it will continue to matter. Next year is a make or break year. No matter who we get in the portal. It MUST be a good year. Wins matter.

It has been the exact same shite sandwich repackaged for 10 years. With the exception of buying the greatest college player in a generation, and 2 miracles 2 weeks in a row you're looking at 20.

Yeah I wholly agree with this. We go sub 0.5 again next year, we will lose the HC and everyone else. It will be a complete gut job after that.

Agree. Next year is no longer “come rebuild Auburn and be a part of it”. That won’t work. It’s got to be “we’re winning and we’ll put you in the NFL”

Without that, freeze will be a lame duck.

Poker should melt hard. He has saved it for the occasion and not a frequent melter.

This has a closing similar to 2012

Hey I don’t disagree with you. Our product has sucked. I’m just holding out hope for one more year. If Hugh doesn’t show IMMENSE improvement next year, I’ll be checking out also.

Wins matter a little. If we can win 6-8 games the recruiting will hold,at this level. If we go off for 10 or more we could move up a spot or,two. Anything less than a bowl and we might slide to 10-12. Main thing in recruiting now is playing time, money and being a traditional big conference school.

There haven’t been, unless you are being obtuse to what people actually argued. In the grand scheme though, it didn’t matter much. Yes it impacted some final guys, but overall our class has remained largely unchanged regardless of our record.

And nobody has ever argued against this either. Everyone has said next year is make it or break it.

Disappointing ESD but still a great class, especially considering the poor coaching display we saw this year. I think we are all on the same page that next season there is going to have to be noticeable improvement in the win column. The staff is gonna have to nail it in the portal for several positions.

This close is awful, but the opening was so good it mask's the close. The on the field matters. Again, you better damn well take this extra cash and use it to sign THE TOP portal QB and tackle period.

Yep. So much of that depends on who the QB is and how good the offensive coaching/calls are….

Defense put us in position to win 8/9 games. QB play and Gus-esque game plans in spots cost us 4/5 games.

If if if, every year there’s ifs and when’s but it never manifests. I’m so tired of getting excited for a team that hasn’t been decent in idk how long. Especially when Hugh says things like “ we aren’t missing this kid” he can kick rocks for that comment alone.
