True. Also. The problem with trying to pull only recruits that are after money is you will need to recruit them hard every year to stay. At some dollar point, he isn't a QB. You gotta walk. Starr my give us equal production

Of course. I've been saying for months that you can only play the "our record doesn't matter" card for so long. Results on the field matter. If you are Offord, both Oregon and Auburn can pay you whatever you want. Why wouldn't you go to the team that is currently #1 in the country versus the one that looked like a mess for most of the season?
This is also why I kept repeating: if Freeze doesn't win a LOT MORE next year, his recruiting will fall off a cliff. You can only fool HS kids for so long on promises of "we're building".
