I get bumping Duece knight because he hasn't played but Jared Smith has been absolutely outstanding in the toughest division in Alabama and he dropped? Lol Antonio Coleman and Derrick Smith got the 247 bump down even though they've played well. Even Nate Marshall took a dive out of the top 100.

Offord dropped also, ridiculous and it’s going to be tough to hang on to Starr from what Clemente is hinting at on 247.

Could've sworn someone said Starr was told to look around.

Lots of speculation on various boards about Starr. Pink said this week he spoke to him personally and "he is definitely keeping his options open".

Would really like to keep him, he is a true corner, and very fast, faster than Bryce Cain fast. Won state 100 and high jump, number one player in Tn, all according to 247.

I think he decommitted ohio state when Offord committed (and they already had the other top corner in the country committed).

Ironically, if Offord commits to us....he will probably run off starr again.

That may be what is happening. Especially if Freeze is ready to unload the NIL truck on Offord.

I think Woodby dropped Ohio St, not Starr. We need as much talent as we can muster back there! Hope they stick…

Sorry, correct on both counts.

Really would like to keep him, we seem to have a lot of DBs and few quality corners, at least that have stepped up so far.

I like Starr a lot and hope he remains and signs with us. He’s got elite speed but Offord is a better player.

I’m sure DJ has his ideas how he wants to build his defenses but for me personally I would be looking at 2 longer rangy fast corners, quicker physical nickel, fast physical strong safety such as Kaleb Harris/Eric Winters type and free safety that is fast to recover and chase down folks. Needs to be a good tackler but not elite. I think Starr would be great at a position like that if he’s not an outside corner starter. Would love to see a JC Hart in that type role

Boy that wasn't a popular observation. The reaction to it has been similiar to the reaction I got from my teen daughter and her friends when I said T Swift and Travis were so 2023

It’s easier to just push downvote then have a discussion. Doesn’t matter to me. Every once in a while an actual discussion will break out for a page or so on the site. I’m free and everyone else is free to have their opinions. Our board is more soft then our team

When have I cried about downvotes? I don’t give a shite about up votes or downvotes. They make zero sense to me. If someone disagrees say the disagreement. If someone agrees then state it. Even if someone agrees or disagrees with a variation then say so.

I’ve made it very clear I stay for engagement, more information, more discussion that’s what this site is built for. Strange, I know.
