re: 2025 Football Recruiting

Depends on the narrative/context sure. If the context is recruiting or what the team might look like towards the end of the season "we suck at winning" right now might not be all that matters. I can see this team, if we don't turn the ball over 5 times a game, getting better and looking more and more competitive the later we get into the season. Now that is a huge if. That would require some development of hank brown or PT putting his nose to the grindstone and elevating on game day and it's possible, even probable that doesn't happen. It's hard to see, especially when you view it through a winning is all that matters lens, but this team has made improvements every week. And some things we came out the gates good at it, we remain good at.

The rumors start flying when things aren’t going well.

The truth is, Freeze’s pitch hasn’t changed. He’s telling kids that he needs them to get things rolling again. It might work for this year, but it’s going to be hard to sell come next season if there’s no improvement.

I mean, there were definitely recruits in the stadium watching the game. I’m sure some go and watch it from the lounge too, especially if it is hot as hell or raining like the last two weeks, but they are definitely in the stadium watching the game and the group looked to be about the same size in the second half as the first, though probably some that left after half time.

I wouldn't be mad about it. Apparently we have been telling kids our roster is shite so don't look at game results. We are offering big money and playing time.

19.45 mark a caller clearly says the recruits were in the lounge, on social media, talking to girlfriends, etc and recruits didnt even care what was happening. Only Woodby and Cunningham cared, and Cunningham appeared to be rooting for Auburn.

23 minute mark Pinkston implies Freeze might be working on convincing Offord's girlfriend in order to get Offord
