Dude had this weird obsession with Florida. They are crashing and burning big time and I think he's starting to come to his senses.

5* WR Caleb Cunningham told JLee that he might be at Auburn this weekend

Have to think the flirtation w/ Florida (or any school for that matter) is an attempt to maximize his NIL potential. Which isn’t a bad idea….

That pass to KLS may have been the best dime of the past two seasons so far.

I had a Sullivan to Beasley flashback on that one.

You’d have to go back to the Stidham days or even longer to find a pass like that

So there's actually a path to #1 with Kromah, Lockhart, Babalola, Offord, Duece and maybe a late flip of Cunningham? Where would that slot us?
I figured it up a while back without Cunningham,
Babs, Kromah, Lockhart, Deuce, Offord had us at #1.

quote:Just watching highlights as I couldn’t watch the full game. There are two plays which make me optimistic about DTHB. 5:33 Q3 where he lets the pass pro take full effect; it was 4 DL and 2 LBs rushing the 5 OL pocket, he waits for the RB block, looks to the right and see the two WRs covered and turns left and makes a perfect thrown to a wide open #5. 5:01 Q3 same drive he sees only 4 rushing, shimmies up the pocket takes the easy throw to #27 for the TD. I know he came from a small school but he has got good smarts. We will find out how this translates to SEC play, but if he couldn’t make these adjustments, he wouldn’t do any better.

He was coached by a former Pro Bowl/Super Bowl winning, 14-year NFL QB in HS. Surely he picked up a couple QB tricks to go along with his physical talents.
On a side note, I saw him in person at a game last season and he is by no means a giant QB, but he is definitely itely not a small kid. He is listed at 6'4" and 208lbs this year. So it is easy to see the physical tools he has.
I'm with you in hoping he is a quick study and starts to trust the offense and let's it fly.

Play calling is going to be critical in our next two games. Hank has a big advantage is starting his first two SEC games at home. He just looks like a prototypical Pro-Style QB. We have to run the ball damn hard and use 2 TE sets if needed to give him a good pocket to throw out of to get him going in the pass game.

Throwcephus said himself in the off-season he was trying to work on learning all the protections. I think that's probably why Thorne was ahead of him.
Freeze said today that he still misreads defenses here and there. He mentioned one play where Hank didn't recognize man coverage. Teams try to disguise coverages, so it's just something he will have to experience and learn as he goes. Freeze also said he is doing well presnap. He said Hank correctly checked out of bad plays almost every time.

Is it positive or negative about us and Offord?

Have no clue what they put out but most of their fanbase thinks Offord is gone and their coaches are looking for other corners

Is it between us, tOSU and Oregon now for Offord? As long as the bammers stay away, I will feel good.

Heard this on a podcast that CJ Wiley is sniffing around. He has a great frame but I’m not sure I don’t prefer Sam Turner over him.
