There was a Josh Pate video talking about the QB play and the portal after last week's debacle. He said that he knows for certain that AU was offering big money. Even hinted that Auburn was throwing around enough money that was tempting QBs that weren't even in the portal yet. But Freeze chose not to pony up the money betting on Thorne.
Idk if that's true or not, but he doesn't seem like the kind of dude to throw something like that out with zero clue about what he is talking about.
