Smuphy mentioned him recently as well as a while back. Ty Hawkins. So we could try to get him if Deuce falls through, and.....
Unless Hank Brown ends up starting and playing well for the rest of the season, we will have to get a transfer QB, and probably get one anyway I would think.
If we sign Deuce, I doubt he plays for at least two years, he is really raw.

The QB situation for all schools will probably mean a plethora of transfer QBs.
Just an example, but look at Tenn. They have one of the top rated starting, the next two classes behind him some highly ranked guys, and they just got a 26 commit from the number one QB.
TX and GA to varying degrees the same thing.

Good quality QBs want to showcase their talents behind an average to above-average OL .

If we weren't so bad off and completely lacking of any leverage whatsoever we would've punted him a long time ago. I can't remember getting a HS qb this late in the game. He is also a project at that. If he was game ready like maybe a Stidham I could see it.

Three of our best 4 QBs have been transfers... Cam, Nick, Stidham... (Bo was a recruit who started as a Freshman). It is time to move on from Thorne, but the folks behind him are young. But I am read to take a chance on Downtown Hank Brown.

I read something the other day that said Duece Knight has finalized plans to take an official visit to Auburn for the OU game. It was said in the article that if ND commits take official visits to other schools then ND considers that recruit officially decommitted.
Does anyone here know if that really is the ND policy?

Then why hasn’t he been mentioned here in forever? Or any information coming out about his commitment. It wasn’t a surprise commitment it’s been scheduled for a while.
