Look at our OL that was here last January and where it’s at currently. 1 year and the right puzzle pieces and here we are. A lot of that credit goes to Thornton.
Granted I’m at the show me point where just being decent at OL doesn’t cut it. Need to excel in the run and pass. Has to become a strong unit of the team and need to be in the top 4 each year in the conference.

Nice, he friends with Perlotte?

I think we have Winters higher on our board. I don’t think we would turn Perlotte away tho.
Players like that is why I think we have a big class this year.

Yeah we aren't in a position to be turning away borderline 5 star talent. Especially from a place like Buford. Get as many studs as we can and figure it out when they get here.
Felt like the class was losing some momentum so hopefully this was a step back in the right direction.

With the addition of Williams and the initial ranking of the latest TE commit, we’re up to 7th nationally and 3rd in the conference with 9 commitments.
I think this is a good spot to be going into March. Spring practice visits are indicators of significant interest from recruits. Guys that visit in the upcoming month and a half and leave with OVs scheduled this summer are ones to track closely since most top guys end up committing before the season starts.

4* LB Zion Grady will visit March 16. He’s also working on an OV date this summer

Whats the news on this QB out of Cali Husan Longstreet?
Seems interest has really gone up on both sides.

Word is he's the top guy on Auburn's board outside of JuJu of course.

Heard there is a lot of smoke with Husan, juju a longshot at best. Coaches like Husan more than Lacey.

Juju is tops of everyone’s board. He ain’t coming to AU

It's a long shot, but if we can get a 5* receiver from Central Phoenix City and take another 5*(at the time) from Bama heads up, I'm not counting us out. Lol If we can get him to Big Cat anything can happen.

Thanks for the info on Husan. Its all good news.
Regarding DL. They say Blockton showed up as a grown man, apparently the weight room has been very good to him.
Freeze said in the presser that they may get a couple more interior DL from the portal and maybe an edge.

Trinidad, despite you being entirely polite and genuine sometimes i think you need to take a hike, kid. It's not you; it's me.

We still need a couple interior guys for the ‘24 season and possibly an edge. All would more than likely be depth pieces because I doubt any DL stars enter the portal after spring.
I think before anyone leaves after spring we are at 80 or 81 scholarships. So we will probably pick up 5-6 guys post spring

Jang,
Im thrilled with the DL recruiting, edges and ends this year and great interior for 2025 but to Corch's point its a fill gap til next year.
Im really hoping Reed balls out this spring, Freeze said he is moving inside. And Travis the JC transfer had four tackles in the bowl game, seems he finally got in shape, and came in 20lbs lighter for spring. Then the two portal guys, Zeke Walker, and Jayson Jones. Compared to the caliber personnel at end, edge, LB and DB, that is a glaring need this fall.
Sorry if I implied otherwise.
