Oh I have no doubt they are used to the physical aspect from high school. My point was more the fact that Walker was specifically working on the mental part, and just the two summer enrollees. Im sure they are all the QBs are throwing to all the receivers, but the fact the new guys had "homework assignments" on the mental part I found interesting.

And yes they showed the snack bar and the dining. Gentry was eating honey cheerios and his pardna Coleman was eating granola and fresh strawberries. Well the meal does make the man.

Cooler walls full of Gatorade, Water and any beverage imaginable.

Trainers for massages, hot tubs, cold tubs, classes to manage personal finance. And then the whole scholastic thing with unlimited tutors.

Some spoiled kids, but then gladiators as well, where one play could take it all away.

These guys were around Walker White a ton during their recruitment together. They probably have some confidence in him.

I think this year is ideal to get the young guys enough real game time early to see who will be the future, if we have one in the room, QBs Im speaking of.

Last year Peyton did not even go through spring, so the early part of the season he was still learning and you could not take snaps from him. This year he should be fairly set so you can start filtering in the other guys and find out the pecking order.

I also think its important for receiver recruits this year. To your point Lanier, a kid we get in this year, if he is good, will play for three and gone, the two things he is looking at, does the offense become more pass oriented, and two who is the backup. Cause Peyton is gone after this year, and any QB who comes in this class is likely not going to see playing time for two years and the receivers are almost gone by then.

Ya gotta get the young guys some playing time, cant have this vicious cycle of portal QBs every year.

Caldwell just interviewed Eric Winters. He asked Winters who he is trying to recruit and Winters said he routinely talks to "Jared Smith, KJ Lacey, Fegans, and Deuce Knight."

I think Fegans is a long shot, but if we can land him and Smith, that would be dope.

Why do you think Fegans is a long shot? He seems to be one everyone thinks we are near the top for

Fegans closer to a lock than a long shot

On a similar note, I just watched an interview with Alvin Henderson and he said he thinks AU has a top 5 class. He said he knows things fans don't. I hope he's right. I do think we end up better than 13th where we are now.

As for Fegans, I was wrong. Had him confused with someone else I think. It does appear AU leads for him.

You are probably thinking of Offord. Feagans brother just transferred to us a few weeks ago, thats a pretty good indication.

Antwon Fegans Jr.
JUNIOR
6'1"
197 lbs
Safety
Oxford, Ala.
Northwestern State

On a sidenote, 247 now has Jujus ranking at 94.....Walker White was 97 and Deuce Knight is around there and above Juju as well now. For those caught up in those rankings.

We will see. We will see.

As ive stated in the past, it's not my favorite way. Id like a 70/30 run but I'm old and hate new things.

Throne may surprise me. But somehow, in the end, I just dont think so. Maybe the Walker will get playing time.

I'm with you, but those days are over.

70/30 run in modern college football will mean bottom of the pack in the SEC from now on. If you can't throw, you're not going to hold onto good QBs and receivers and might as well be in the Sunbelt.

The reality, what it would take to have a consistent OL that is that dominant in run blocking is almost impossible to get. Passing is just far more efficient nowadays. It’s the same with 3pt shooting in basketball right now. If you can hit them with any decent percentage, there really isn’t a reason for a mid-game statistically.

Those 2013 style teams were fun as hell to watch, but it just isn’t realistic to do that today’s game against top tier talent and defenses.

Exactly. 1995 Nebraska linemen don't exist anymore because all high-schools now play basketball on grass. College coaches have to adapt to what high-schools are sending them.

Everything is a trend in football and I have to wonder if we wont see smashmouth come back one day. Some coach will be successful and MRGA (make rushing great again).

I really want Deuce Knight. I know he’s a bit of a project but his measurables and skills are enticing as hell. He’d be off the charts at a combine.

In a perfect world, Walker could take over next year and let Deuce learn for a couple years, then take the helm.

Is Deuce the guy we watched last August and completed maybe 4-20 passes.

That guy is a long strider. We want him at Auburn some how. He can chew yards on the ground. Hopefully his passing is gazillion times better.

Where is Jville at on this one

Yeah he was pretty bad in most of the big games he had. He’s all potential. Physically he’s all you’d want. With him it comes down to can he improve his throwing and can he show up against tough competition.

Anyone see Deion tweeting about Juju's rankings dropping just because he is being recruited by Deion.

Deion has that ego lol.
