Ward isn’t a finished product but you can’t teach his size and mobility on the inside. He’s 330ish in high school. Get on a college food table and training and he’s gonna be a mammoth with good weight, size, mobility on the inside. Just look at the schools recruiting should tell you all you need to know

Also for those wondering Ward should be announcing on IG for those that use that at 5 CDT so just a hair over an hour.

Yep Ward in the boat.
Now let’s swing for the big dogs. Solid foundation of an OL. How good this group will be won’t be known for a couple years but the staff is extremely high on each of the 5 in the boat already

Side note - Wards commitment probably puts Scroggings back on the recruitment trail for the staff. High school teammates so I would say that one is open as any even tho he is committed to Miami

I’d still be surprised if Scroggins wasn’t in this class

Agreed depending on if we get others before we turn back to him. The staff wants him but if they get another Will backer and another true Edge before he decides to circle back. That’s why the staff was a little surprised by the Miami commit

What planet am I on? Auburn pulling HS lineman is twilight zone stuff.

Ward is a dog. As I said, his rating should rise. Raw, absolutely. Exactly what you want though. Kid with size, mobility, and potential. Maybe early to say but a similar version of Greg Robinson maybe, to compare to an Auburn product. Definitely one I’m really excited about.
ETA: not saying they are perfectly comparable. I just think ultimately they will be similar type guys.

Calhoun and Ward at opposite sides at guard. Both massive and good feet.
Keep stacking interior guys and land some some elite OTs.
Still games are won in the trenches. Loving the size of our guys.

Pretty sure the point of the article is that of the teams trying to flip Autry, OSU has the best shot. Not that OSU is the favorite to land Autry.

He’s been playing the game. I really have no idea where he’ll end up

Here’s the entirety of Wiltfong’s comments on Malik Autry:
That was it. It was at the bottom of an overview of the guys on Ohio State’s board

Ohio State is considered the biggest threat to flip Opelika (Ala.) High four-star defensive lineman Malik Autry from Auburn.

Yea. I don’t think Autry is going anywhere.
Ward is a stud. Have heard the coaches think he has potential to start by year 2.
