Why all the smoke out of nowhere and Alvin? I mean I always heard we would be in it until the end, but what’s changed all of the sudden for a flip coming?

Part of it. Also, we just flat out never stopped recruiting him. He’s gotten closer to Nix and they have a good bond.

Penn State also told him some half truths about NIL/Flying his family to games etc.

Duane Morris is the reason. He is/was very interested in AU.

The staff wants to take an all purpose back like Henderson/Morris

And a big back like Kromah/Mills-Knight

So Henderson’s must have been like oh shite I better stop fricking around trying to get my social media numbers up and get on board where I actually want to play.

And you’re thinking to yourself why would they want their social media numbers up? It plays into the NIL amount and how marketable you may be.

was in sight.

And side a only needed to be honest, about side c, for side b to see it.

I don't think it is outside the realm of possibility we take 3 backs in this class.

I agree and think Duane Morris might be the 3rd if we do. A lot depends on what kind of traction we see in the ‘26 running back class.

However taking 3 high school running backs in the same class when you run a 1 back system probably isn’t a great idea

three is a lot for one recruiting cycle imo. It could happen, but it seems like a stretch to be fair

It's a stretch, but I think we'd take Morris on top of Alvin and Kromah to help with Juju.

It's not such a stretch if either one of Cobb or Alston were to hop in the transfer portal next year.

Id rather pick up a portal guy if that happens, but yes, if we lose another back, 3 makes sense

The one concern I had about Freeze when we hired him was what might happen to the running game. Hearing he might take 3 RBs in 1 cycle alleviates that concern

What grain might that be? lol

I haven’t seen anyone worth a damn have confidence he is ours. Only real feeling I’m seeing is Auburn is in the running. Well, that doesn’t mean much in this era of recruiting.

If you’re on Twitter then you’re likely convinced he’s a lock.

That’s the grain he’s talking about
