think i understand

1. line up 5 QBs, each under 5 centers
2. every time we call this formation, ball is in a different center’s hands
3. quick snap before the defense can figure out which is the “real” center/QB combo
4.

4 QB's, but yes essentially. You then have two WR's running jet sweeps in opposite directions and one running a go route downt the middle.

Talked to “my guy” this morning. He’s maintained a very positive attitude about Jackson Arnold through all of camp even on the bad days.

He still maintains Jackson is very good at the RPO part of the offense. He said Jackson is elite at the short game stuff and putting the ball where it needs to be.

His only real gripe was Jackson bangs on to the ball a little too long on deep balls waiting for the WR to get a lot of separation which doesn’t happen a lot with our defense.

Also said he can only think of one INT Jackson has thrown in 7 on 7/scrimmages and it was just a great play by Strader.

I’m just laughing at all the negatigers that didn’t realize we have so many play callers because we have so many QB’s.

Same. This is exactly what we want

Shows how far we've come. We used to have a coach that had to use fake QB's to try and generate QB numbers. Now, thanks to our recruiting, we can reach these numbers naturally.

That's hardly what I would call animated, just looks like a dude describing something, doesn't look like headline material, but it is al.com so...

Hat didn't even hit the ground. This generation of "journalists" are too soft.

I’ve been watching the practice videos for a couple weeks. How many PI calls are our DBs gonna get called for in the first game?

Nah just kidding it’s been a good battle but needs to be cleaned up some before the first game.

Taking the Sonny Smith approach if all 5 guys foul they can only call it on 1

We get called for them regardless, so might as well get in the receiver’s heads if we are getting flagged anyways.

He’s traditionally been pretty hard on AU leading up to the season so I tend to listen when he says good things.

That makes me even more excited. Playoffs comin boys!

I think Bother Hugh knows he’s sitting on a stockpile of elite talent and he is trying so hard to make sure they don’t screw it up come game time. I think that explains why we have seen an animated Hugh in videos. He was just riding it out the last two years until the cupboard was full.

AU defensive PI and 3rd and longs go together like peas and carrots.
