Don’t give the job stability crap Norvell’s seat may be hotter then Harsin’s.

KN posted an article about our remaining edge targets. Only edge guys we still have on the board now are Russaw (who isn't coming here), Tausili Akana who is favored to go to Texas, Rico Walker who is favored to go to Tenn or UNC, and Wilky Denaud who we might have a decent shot with.

In the comments KN then said he believes we will have have to go to portal route for edge. (I assume thats true even if we get Denaud)

Denaud is the least talented and least coveted of all the targets lol

Yeah he's a guy you don't expect to contribute much his first year.. maybe by year 2 or 3.

Those types don’t seem to stick around. Just get disappointed easily and head for early PT

What does the ON3 article say about Karmello’s commitment. In particular the timing

Yep Faulk picked FSU. Our paid reporters did a good job with this one considering how quiet he kept things. This one is a bad miss.

He'll switch when the money is right. This stuff is so absurd.

Another swing and miss on a big time in-state prospect that would rather go out of state than play for the team he grew up cheering for. Love it.

I was pretty willing to be patient with the staff last cycle. I thought that was reasonable enough. I’ve even understood why we’ve struggled to land guys over Bama, UGA, and Clemson this cycle. But losing an instate kid at a position of need to a program that’s where FSU is should be alarming. And the excuse shouldn’t matter much, IMO.

Another fricking annoying thing is that all of these kids are shutting their recruitment down (so they say) but our commits are still talking about taking all of their visits.

You have finally succumbed to the Dark Side....

It is looking like Harsin's formula in recruiting, and the coaches that are the key ones can't bring em in either.

And after what happened in this last round of Portal Paranoia, to say we are going to have to go that route again is even more depressing, knowing the latest results.

I feel like Auburn Football recruiting is now in that group of football programs that is just glad to be in that list top players put you just before they commit and ofc...your not their pick.

Nah, that cant be true Alpine, in this age of millions being tossed around....we lose our recruits because the coach didnt attend some kid's practice, and he missed a barbeque, cant be about money, could it, I mean could it?

It pisses me off the coaches dont have the money, thats what should annoy the board.

Auburn should’ve cut ties when everything went down. Now we’ve wasted another year. This class will fall apart when Bryan Harsin gets fired anyways.

I’ve heard the money is available for current players and they are being taken care of.

You can not use NIL as a recruiting tool. If we miss kids because we aren’t promising them 1 million then I have no issue. I would rather finish last then get busted cheating. They would burn us to the ground if we get caught again.

But I don’t think that’s the real issue. To many excuses.

Yawn.

Follow Utah. We don't pay players and we are a top 10 team.

Omg shut up about fricking Utah. For Utah to be anything Arizona, ASU, USCw, UCLA, and Washington all had to be down at the same time.

Let Utah play AU’s schedule and they would be equivalent to Vandy at best. So get that trash outta here. There is no comparison in Utah and AU.

I understand that’s your team and you’re passionate about but not one person that is an AU fan gives one shite about Utah or wants to be anything like Utah. So yea for Utah 1 season they are the best of the worst hooray.

Don't stroke out buddy.

Utah would be AU in the SEC. Go bowling every year and a special season every fifth year. UTAH OL and DL is better than AU, and skill positions are worst annually.
