Is it just me or did KN not really seem to care much about his job over the last couple of years?

I thought KN was still the hardest working recruiting guy across the Auburn universe (by a lot).
I like Dukes, I don't know what he'll bring to the table. But he hustles and is responsive. JC and MM are still the most professional Auburn homer guys out there, but I'm not sure their insights are worth paying for anymore. I really just for ITAT/247 for the premium board. I don't have a lot of even keeled older AU fans in my life anymore, so I like hearing from them during all the drama/turmoil.

Dukes has great Atlanta area intel because he’s so plugged in over there. But so far that seems to be about it. He’s a good contributor
I don’t know for sure but I think KN was Atlanta based. I think Clemente can be a good fit. He went to Auburn recently and lives in Auburn. We’ll see how he does.

Quick nugget from Clemente — looks like Auburn is planning to do big cat weekend July 30

He’s been saying for a few years now that his time covering recruiting for Auburn was coming to an end. Looks like he finalized that decision last fall and has been riding out this last year. He was about as good as it gets in recruiting up until last fall, IMO. No idea what he does next but I imagine it won’t be too far off from what he does now. But you’re right — he was ready to move on.
I know u liked referencing KNs content and thought he as close to a straight shooter when it came to recruiting tidbits.
So who will u feel good using now?

No clue, honestly. I don’t know Clemente well enough yet. KN was good at not overreacting to the information he was getting. I think the recruiting guys that have historically gotten the most grief just read into good news too much and therefor set expectations too high
The funny part of KN is that he’d do an interview with a kid that was generally positive about Auburn and at times really complimentary but then follow that article up with a comment along the lines of “not liking Auburn’s chances here”. He was just good at reading through the bullshite

What’s funny is I just googled that name and he gets more results than my own name.
He’s gonna retire. He did bring some great responses when first on the scene.

2024 4* CB Jayden Lewis will visit June 10 per Clemente. He assumes he'll be there for the elite camp that day but hasn't confirmed it yet.
JGT posted that we've offered 2023 3* OT and Colorado commit Naquil Bertrand and 2024 WR/DB Vernell "Trey" Brown.
Brown's dad played for Florida and currently works there as a player development guy.

2015 got us covered, Jonseypoo. He gonna wear himself out like E but he’s got some real spunk I can tell.

He’s got a real can-do attitude.
Hope you’re doing well Jones.

4* TE Jelani Thurman talked to Clemente/247. He’ll OV on the 10th and had a lot of great things to say about Auburn. Really sounds like Auburn has done a good job recruiting him. Also taking OV’s to Michigan State, Bama, and Ohio State. Late July decision for him

I concur on Pinkston’s breakdowns. They’re generally poorly written and provide nothing insightful.
His content in general is very low-tier and rarely provides anything insightful. He seems like a nice guy, but he doesn't offer much in the way of new info. His recruiting writeups are pretty much the same. It is generally something akin to this:
"Jamaal Jarrett is visiting this weekend for an official visit. All intel and signs point to Georgia right now, but he has a "bond" with recent signee Enycee Sledge. Now that he's visiting, things could get interesting".
He just released an "intel" article on this weekend's visitors, and it's basically just writeups like the above. So and so is visiting, Auburn likes the kid (no shite, he's there for an OV), lets see what happens after the weekend.

Dukes says transfer WR from LSU, Koy Moore, is expected on campus this weekend

Just got a CB for him from a national 247 writer, too.

Definitely good news. Also now noticing all the MSU 247 people switched their CB’s on Brock Glenn to Auburn

I see talk of needing another Edge, we have Eku and Hall...is Dylan Brooks not making progress? I know he redshirted, but heard nothing about him during the spring?

Dukes posted 4* LB Lewis Carter will OV the 17th-19th and his teammate 2024 4* OL Eddy Pierre-Louis will visit the 19th.
Carter's relationship with CRob has been huge since they've had a relationship since CRob was at Florida. He'll OV Clemson this week and Oklahoma the next. He says if Auburn and CRob continue to apply pressure this could be a recruiting win for us.
Carter's HS coach is former Auburn WR Jeris Mcintyre and his position coach is former Auburn LB Dontarrious Thomas.
Dukes says he feels good about Auburn's chances with Connor Lew and we're currently even with Clemson and UGA. Auburn feels he has the versatility to play multiple positions on the OL.
Prentiss "Air" Noland will be visiting unofficially this weekend with his parents and brother. His family wants to know why he talks about Auburn so much so they're gonna make the drive down there.
Noland is a left handed thrower and according to a source with knowledge told AUC that Harsin loves left handed throwers, him and Kellen Moore did a lot of things you can't do from the other side so Noland being a lefty is a bonus.

I saw a little on him. He’s one of the 3 they’re expecting. They need a couple more beyond that. 3 edge guys is razor thin
Brooks worked a lot on his body and conditioning. He had done his own bulk up his senior season that apparently was just not working for him
