I think y’all are discounting Robby wayyy too soon with a competent coach, better offense, and better OL. Cam would have looked human with that offense last year.

He showed flashes of brilliance toward the end of the year. He doesn’t have to be Johnny Football. I, for one, think Hugh really might see something there.

Not counting him out. I’m just not expecting it at this point

That seems fair to me

That wasn’t necessarily directed at you. Some people are laughing at the thought of him being capable with all the new parts we have. I certainly am not counting him out yet.

At this point, I'll call the hookers for Hugh myself, and hope the wife doesn't go snooping.

The edge from Georgia MJ Sherman just hit the portal, whats the scoop on him? He was a 5 star in HS and he got to play in all the games last year, albeit mostly special teams, why is he leaving?

I’m not counting him out but I’m also not wanting to put all of our eggs in that basket.

I was hoping we would raid Georgia's backups. I guess there is still time.

Probably to start somewhere. UGA was pretty young on defense.

I can agree with that. Another would be nice. Who is the qb room right now?

Robby
Holden
Hank Brown

??

(Not counting TJ)

I don’t think anyone is counting him out. He just has some very serious flaws as a passer and always had. Yes, a better staff can do a lot of work with him, but he does have his issues. He’s had them since high school when it comes to throwing the ball. His athleticism will always keep him in the battle though. If he can figure out the passing game, he can be as dangerous as they come. That’s just a big if right now.

Not disagreeing. But I can’t help but to keep thinking of that throw to Var in the iron bowl. That shite was beautiful.

Dude is an athlete, no doubt. He will always be able to make amazing throws because he has a great arm. Can he do the routine stuff though, that will always be the question. He has some big road blocks to doing that consistently, but they are plenty fixable in theory. We will see.

I see what you mean now, I looked at their roster, that sophmore edge they had really closed out the season well and the guy is battling some pretty good talent that is in his class.

TJ Sherman a freshman edge for Georgia, wonder if we are talking to him?

Good news. Downtown Hank Brown ain't gonna let anyone else start for 4 years anyway.

Good. Never liked the fit. Already transferred multiple times and didn’t even start last season, IIRC. Bryan Harsin’s QB recruiting in general was also a bust at Auburn.
