A game that brings a huge smile to my face every time I think about it.

Good old Curley Hallman! He just kept throwing it.

The beginning of the end for Hallman came on September 17, 1994 at Jordan–Hare Stadium against Auburn. LSU led 23–9 early in the fourth quarter, and the Bayou Bengals were in good position to end Auburn's 13-game winning streak. But LSU quarterback Jamie Howard threw two interceptions that were returned for Auburn touchdowns, tying the game. LSU regained the lead with a field goal, but when the Bayou Bengals were trying to run out the clock, Howard threw his fourth interception of the game, and incredibly, Auburn returned the pick for another touchdown, giving the home team a 30–26 lead. LSU drove into Auburn territory in the game's final minute, but Howard threw his fifth and sixth interceptions on consecutive drives, sealing the win for Auburn.

I was at that LSU Pick game we left when 4th Quarter started, by the time we got to the Spectrum gas station at Wire and Shug we had already scored twice. We were gonna get beer and keep drinking, instead we got a shitload of TP and headed to Toomers. By the time we got to Magnolia we were ahead,

I'd be surprised if he didn't try and win the job in spring before leaving.
Hopefully the coaches could see through that and not let him steal too many reps.

Rabern I think what he is saying is that he would stay for spring and see if he could get the starting job there before deciding to leave.

AA7, he was good, very good in high school, but if he wanted to start for Auburn in the fall he would have to win it here in the spring as well, otherwise Id go for a one and out with experience, and hope Holden, Ashford, or the little GOAT (as Zac calls him) will step up with a year more experience.

Then again Im not that smart or Id be the coach

Y’all really like to take post that aren’t all sunshine and rainbows completely out of context don’t y’all?

Rabern didn’t start the fight.

I think I did. But I stand by what I said. I have reason to be cynical...

I'm hopeful though. Next year's team will be a better product.

I thought Rogers already visited bama? If so and we are getting crystal balls thats a good thing.

If not then bama obviously has a need there. Perhaps they get him....and we get Smith in the portal next year

He visits this upcoming weekend. But Fong knows that too obviously. He doesn’t miss much

I was there… every interception for a TD came directly toward me in the North EZ.

Yes. I remember watching that game. LSU fans hate Hallman and have never forgiven Howard.

Rogers would be a massive pickup. Might even be the best pickup obviously not the most important need but best player.

However how many times are we gonna let these National guys pull our chains. Auburn leads with a player to visit Bama.

Just saying I’m gonna let this one play out. Massive if we are his pick. frick him if he picks the tide. Lol

No the interception game was under Bowden in 1994. The barn burner was under Tubs

I stand corrected. The interception game was amazing. Season tickets were in the SE endzone. The barn burner game season tickets were in the north endzone. For like 10 minutes or so you couldn’t tell if the stadium was as on fire or not and it completely distracted from the game for about 30 minutes or so

Do we have any shot at Rashada? He has supposedly asked UF to be released from his LOI.

The very next season Howard got a little bit of redemption beating AU in Baton Rouge in what many LSU fans call the "Bring Back The Magic Game" - but many AU fans refer to it as the "Phantom Whistle" game

‘24 4* DL Sterling Dixon and Freeze have talked several times and he may end up visiting later this month for Auburn’s junior day. Says he likes Freeze. Committed to Bama currently
