Top 8, 12, 20’s and so on have been around, especially this early, for the better part of a decade. I’d say really since most of these kids actively used social media along side their recruitment. I’m sure NIL plays a part in them now but they’re not at all new

Edit: the paysites all have graphic guys now that will put these out with their logos attached. The “old school” top lists were on the notes app with emojis for the schools

Didn't say they were new, but look at the slick marketing being used now. It's all a business now and about garnering maximum NIL benefits. Not to mention the showman ship of the kids to show how wanted they are. That has been around of course in the social media era.

I’ll add those. Thanks!

CJ Allen - probably one of the best offer lists of any 3* in the country. Kind of forgot about him

Darron Reed - Surprised he’s visiting but it’s good news from Auburn. Kids from that high school have been spurning auburn for a long time. I think he’s going to OSU but maybe we can convince him to stay local

Coach Bryan Harsin and his staff are scheduled to have three “elite” camps for prospects in the coming weeks. The first is set for June 3rd followed by ones on June 6th and June 10th. The coach said he is expecting to have a large number of prospects attend these events and others will be on campus throughout the month of June for unofficial and official visits.

On June 15th the Tigers will be hosts for an offensive/defensive lineman camp as well as a specialist camp for kickers, punters and long snappers. The following day the Tigers will hold a seven-on-seven camp for high school teams and another one on June 23rd.

These elite camps last June were the first time we heard anything about the current ‘23 targets. Paysites did a good job listing those guys out last year so hopefully they’ll be able to do the same this year. Several hundred end up stopping through by the end of the month

Nathan on 247 had an article about 5 transfer receivers on Auburn's radar he listed: 1. Javon Baker (Bama)
2. Ryan Peppins (Utah)
3. Kobay White (Boston College)
4. Koy Moore (LSU)
5. Charlie Moore (Iowa)

Comments in article are saying we can't take Baker cause we don't offer his major, but Jason said it's still to be determined and they're looking at all possibilities

Are we in on any 5 stars or going to have to wait until Hugh Freeze is head coach for them to start trending our way?

I wonder what limits are on Baker and Moore considering it’s summer by now. The Iowa kid is interesting since he’s a grad transfer

Any of these guys need to be here yesterday to seriously contribute in the fall

Baker entered the portal in Jan and a week later commits to Kentucky. Today he sent out a message saying Kentucky pulled their offer. Odd?

One of the posters in the transfer receiver thread said he couldn't transfer to Kentucky cause of the "progress towards degree" rule they said he couldn't transfer here either cause we don't offer his major. Said poster is named GodCamit so idk if he knows what he's talking about or not

We allegedly suffer the most from that rule so I’d mark that guy off the list

Charlie Moore could be interesting. Kick returner and deep threat. Something badly needed and only would use a scholarship this season could replace in this class as well. I think we are at 78 players so we need to get to around 82.

"progress towards degree"
So Kentucky had his major, Auburn didn't, and Alabama get's a free ride on having a non-progressive player.
