Some LB info:
Auburn made 4* LB Dee Crayton’s top 5. He will OV
Auburn is also allegedly in good shape for 4* LB Stanquan Clark. CRob has been recruiting him for a long time. He was a top performer at a Miami area event this past weekend and the 247 guys seem to think Auburn is doing a great job in his recruitment

Any chance that's Rodney's boy?

Haven’t seen that mentioned anywhere so I’m guessing not

Mentioned this a page or two ago maybe but the NCAA lifted 25 scholly cap per class for the next 2 years. Teams can sign up to their 85 scholarship limit.
If done right, this could help Auburn load up their OL without sacrificing from other team needs — something that you’d have to do when you have about 7-8 unused scholarships already.

JGT mentioned this today as well
The AFCA submitted a recommendation to the (NCAA’s) Football Oversight Committee regarding an important change to the portal.
The NCAA appears prepared to put this into motion immediately.
There will be TWO windows for portal movement.
WINDOW ONE
Opens: Last Sunday in November
Closes: First day of the (Early) Signing Period OR five days after final game … whichever comes last.
WINDOW TWO
Opens: April 15
Closes: May 1
**Players who enter the portal appear to have an unlimited amount of time to make a ”match.”

Hopefully we can actually capitalize on the opportunity

I don't disagree with the idea of this but how is this fair to student athletes that want to transfer as opposed to students just withdrawing and sitting until they enroll at another school.
I'm tired of free agency in college sports but they created the monster and one day it'll turn in our favor but either student athletes are treated the same as regular students or not. You can't have it both ways and pretend until something happens someone doesn't like.

My brain is fried bro. Never sniff paint. I can’t even figure out if there is an advantage for non bowl game teams under window 1

Craig McDonald has signed. Also, bat signal by Trovon. Possibly Morris Joseph.

Good call. Morris Joseph committed.

“ In 2021, Joseph played in 10 games at Memphis with nine starts. He finished the year with 38 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Per Murphy, he "has 117 tackles as a college player with a season high in 2020 when he made 52 with seven quarterback sacks. Prior to playing at Memphis he was at Iowa Western Community College and the University of Texas–San Antonio."
Joseph has one season of eligibility remaining”

He an interior player? maybe he's productive we have plenty of scholly's available

Mentioned him visiting recently. Solid interior guy. Was at JUCO before Memphis and has been climbing the ladder. Productive player and he’ll eat snaps at Auburn.

I’m going to work on the roster in this thread tomorrow morning. We’ve had a lot of changes and it needs attention now
Edit: Roster is updated. I used 247's roster guide to better account for the redshirts. If accurate, the staff has done a good job balancing the classes= 16/20/20/22. This puts us currently at 78 for the fall.

Would be a solid guess. He tweeted out "business is business" earlier. Maybe our NIL finally got one
RB target Roderick Robinson announced he's committing on the 26th. Not sure where we stand with him.
