top 10 still feels like too big of a stretch, unless we hit on some unexpected targets like someone else just said.

KN said top 15 a couple of days ago though and I think that is sounding more realistic. With a full year with this staff I'm expecting top 10 next year though.

The fact that this sentence exists on this board this early in the Freeze era is awesome.

Can I also just say, I am so glad we did not hire Lane Kiffin. Am I right?

Top 15 would be phenomenal. That’s kinda my bar for acceptable Auburn recruiting and to get there in this short a time would be a job well done.

Yet to be determined. For me anyway

It's a joy to get up early for Signing Day again. I have slept in the last few years. Refresh finger may be a bit rusty.

We'll have to see what happens at the QB position. Not exactly going perfect so far. I always had confidence that Lane would bring in great QBs - a requirement for success.
Wait and see.

While I totally respect your position, I'm just going to go ahead and kick you off the side of the FREEZE EXPRESS!!! CHOO CHOO MFERS!!

(again, with all due respect)

Top 15 is more meaningful in this class than previous ones. Cristobal and Riley resurrecting their new schools recruiting efforts while their old schools keep churning is a reason. Tennessee entering the chat has changed things for the better and Texas is recruiting very well. It’s kind of nice to see but it’s going to make Auburn’s job in recruiting harder.

I wouldn’t be ashamed of a near-top-15 class this cycle considering the coaching change.

Its kinda like a Marta bus that the air conditioning doesnt work right now. Its getting you there but its uncomfortable.

Good to see some holes being filled. No way we can bash him for this class. He is doing well with the short time. But next year, I hope he can get Auburn back in the mix for some top tier high school talent.

I did the math:

Let's say...if we added Smith, Russaw, Mitchell and Kayin we would have the 12th best class in the country and have 272.08 recruiting points

So Niner, that's the answer to your top 10 hypothetical question

Need to know if the thread wants overall (transfer + HS/JUCO) rankings tomorrow or just the 247 composite? I can also provide both. Don’t really care

And eventually we need to consider the On3 composite but that’s probably gonna switch next cycle for simplicity sake

247 has a class calculator that lets you skip the math, ya frickin dork

Hard part is figuring out where other classes will land tomorrow and also accounting for the fact that some of the flips will move teams around you backwards
