There seems to be a lot of prior years that made it into the 600s.
Was 2020 when the transfer portal started and coaches said frick it we will just em from the portal?

I think so. Obviously 2021 was the Covid recruiting year plus Gus getting canned
Most of the short ones are the ones I started. Ellitor, TigerPaw and others were heavy volume updaters or posted one nugget per post

TigerPawl would copy and paste long blurbs to the top 25 recruits, camp attendees, and what not. It felt like death by PowerPoint.

Personally at the end of Gus’ tenure and obviously with Harsin, I just had no interest in recruiting because we got our shite pushed in.

I mean there was a season thread of yours where we had to beg you to update it.
Jamal was the same way.
I was being sarcastic saying you shouldn’t work so hard updating your threads or you’d end up like E: the guy complaining about being unhealthy and always complaining that it’s a lot of work to keep up with the threads.

I'll be glad when the recruiting sites start following players in the transfer portal in depth and where they are looking.

Seeing this, I remember when 5* RBs were all the rage: watching Noel Devine high school videos, missing on bryce brown, being hyped when Marcus Lattimore and Lache Seastrunk were both in auburn at the same time. And of course, OL La'El Collins J Lee 75% and rising.
Makes me feel a little older. Let's hope we get back to competitive recruiting, even if it gives me a heart attack.
