It’s gonna be ok, pookie dough

The Kansas JUCO OL is Keyshawn Blackstock

Side note, does anyone know why Coffeyville Community College in Kansas has a JUCO program that kids seek out? How did that unfold? Just seems like a random arse place

I have zero clue but after having to drive through that state several times I just can’t imagine why that part of it would contain a destination JUCO

I think it exists everywhere except in the football complex. It seems like every time Auburn is brought up in the media lately it’s with the assumption that Harsin is out.

I agree with you 100%. But that exists because of the fricking internet.

If you dont think the same dumbasses that some of you pay, dont read these sites to determine what info they are going to recycle and sell to you , you are just kidding yourself

ETA.,..

Top 50 bitches. We coming.

We’ve known for over a decade now that the paysites read this board. Hell, there used to be a rivals guy that would occasionally email me super fricking late at night about shite I’ve shared here (typically annoyed that their content was getting out too quick). Nowadays they seem to be riffing more off Twitter than places like here

If I was arguing in your thread you would be hysterically crying about the shite posting. You’re so pathetic.

And speaking of Blackstock, he may be trending toward Oregon as of this morning

It makes no sense going after juco OL anyways. P5 transfers and HS signees should be our NIL focus. Give me a Wanya Morris not a Brendan Coffey

Yeah I’d only recruit the JUCO guys that we think can help us down the road, similar to HS guys. JUCO has changed a bit in the transfer era in that now it’s basically all guys that either didn’t get offers out of HS or didn’t have the grades to get in.

Juco has always been a crapshoot to me, and I expressed that last year with Emba because most decorated juco players still have to be dealt with a shite ton of caution as if they were HS. I don’t remember all the top position players, but we have had a few that never panned out or had bad splits, Jason Smith, Derrick Moncrief, JF3, Paul James iii, Jovon, Duke, etc

Sal Cannella, the two QBs, and Davontae Lambert are probably our only success stories with Gus.

to be fair, Duke had a really good season for us that first year. i know he didn't pan out because of some attitude and off the field stuff, which you mentioned, and supports your point that JUCO is a bit of a crap shoot.

but i guess i just wanted to acknowledge he was really good for us in 2014 and i was glad to have him on our team, and would welcome a WR of that caliber with open arms right now. i think his 2014 season is forgotten because of how things unfolded in 2015.

side question - when is the last time we had a 1000-yd receiver in a season?

He has played some but I think he is being brought on slow with his off season shoulder surgery and getting up to SEC speed
