You can look at my prediction. I think I was close.

My melt is related to how fricking terrible we look as a team

Feels like that was the plan all along with these coaches. Definitely didn't give a shite about actual football season with actual football being played.

We may throw an interception but when we go pace on offense our pass game looks like a different team. However yes I’m aware ole miss maybe be playing a little softer coverage

They cant. but look at their personnel. Thats not all on them. Its all temporary with recruiting.

Did you ever think as an AU fan that a benchmark for a game (years after the forward pass was made legal) would be to pass for over 100 yards?

It gets harder to recruit when this is the product these coaches are putting on the field. Who would want to play for coaches that look this bad 7 games into the season?

Don’t get me wrong, obviously recruits would prefer to see guys playing better. But don’t underestimate the hubris of a HS recruit. Every kid in that recruiting section knows (or at least thinks) they’re better than the guy at their position. That’s part of the reason Hugh talks so poorly of the roster.

But the coaches jobs get harder to sell recruits when players appear to get worse like this team is.

Why don't they run these short passes throughout the game? It's not hard to do

Yeah we have a 250 lb animal playing TE in Fairweather. Throw him the damn ball 2 yards in front of the LOS and see what happens.

Bad on offense, good on defense.

Aka Auburn since 2019.

We predicted 17-40 tonight and shite season.

Stop getting tripped up on details that will get you there.

This, we knew this year was gonna suck, the sunshine pumpers had me buying in earlier this year and I agree I wasn't expecting offense to be our problem.

But if we make a bowl and get a top 15 - top 10 recruiting class I'll be happy in the long run.

Yep. Who gives a crap about the middle-class fans who spend thousands of dollars on tickets and Game Days when you can blame shite on previous coaches while banking millions of $$$ per year?

There have been so many better choices out there, but we have a bunch of bumblefricks running this program. They think they are geniuses. Oh well.

Yeah it’s a bit too late for that now, chief… this is a multi year rebuild. Let’s try to get to 6-6 and get to a bowl game.
