I think Thorne is a perfectly adequate QB for this 7-5 or 8-4 season. He’s a less talented Stidham

Im not sure Holden is mobile enough to run the offense to be fair

Sure he is. Hugh has stated that mobility is the last thing he looks for in a QB.

Now whether or not he’s mobile enough to navigate pressure is another convo.

I agree that Holden needs to be the next QB off the bench this game. We’ve already seen what Robby offers and outside of a few specific scenarios I think it’s clear that it’s not much. Let Holden get some quality reps, that way if Thorne goes down you have someone actually capable of running the full offense.

It just makes sense. Giving Robby these important snaps with our upcoming schedule is a bad thing. Id rather see Holden getting some time with the 1st tonight is much better for us and him than bringing him in against LSU if Throne got dinged up

Defense is playing good again. The first drive wasn't good, but that's how 1st drives are sometimes. Other than that nothing to complain about.

Offense is still not clicking all the way yet. Its been better though, but still just a little off. This weird front from them is def giving our OL some issues, but still not terrible. Just have to stop getting penalties and not scoring in the redzone. Should be at least 28-0 right now.

I was never a huge Stidham fan but he is better than our two Quartebacks put together by 10 times

He’s Scooter Finley with a much weaker arm.

Most likely the best we have. Got to establish the run in the 2nd half.

Thorne can make the throws. He does actually have good touch. He doesn't see the field very well and he is trying to do too much. He needs to learn when to give up on a play or take the safe throw. Very similar to Bo, he acts like has the world on his shoulders and somtimes his decisions reflect that. Idk if this is fixable throughout this season. Im not hollering for a different QB. There is obviously a reason Hugh is riding with him. Bigger problem is we can't run the ball on a fcs team. Our linemen don't get to the second level very well and blocking on the outside is atrocious.

I honestly wish I had that kind of confidence. The pressure is about to get turned up. Hope we get settled down and handle it'
