We gotta prevent Corch from starting game threads this year. That dude is a jinx if I've ever seen one.

Agree. It’s a bad thread name.

Maybe something like “post fall camp - the fappening”

Thorne certainly is a well spoken individual.

And understands the importance of reading the defense and making the right decision BEFORE throwing the ball.

I wouldnt be surprised he sets the passing record for yards this season with this offensive scheme.

I fear the question will be, can we outscore everyone, right now our defensive front has more holes than the southern border

Player Interviews

Corch please put players interviews with Auburn reporters in your title. I thought a player like Thorne was interviewing to sell insurance. Watch my anxiety, man!!

He does. Sounds like he’s not taking real classes too. More time to focus on football!

What is interesting is Thorne saying his departure from Michigan State was extremely quick. Where he says if someone asked about entering the portal a week before he did he wouldn't know what the person is talking about. He also says a couple things happened.

I would love to know what happened.

Yeah that was interesting. From the other players interviews it sounds like Thorne knows the offense really well and learned it fast. I can see him being a really good OC in the future.

He apparently brought a notebook to help him learn our whole team's names. His answers regarding leadership are pretty exceptional.

1/ 10 out of his job is done. The other 9/10 is on the field. So, he is at least on the right track.

His dad was a QB in school, his dad has been a coach his whole career, and he and his dad spent nine hours of the recruiting visit watching film with Montgomery and Freeze...and said where do I sign.

He has the physical skills and it definitely sounds like he passes the neck check (things are clicking from the neck up).

First time I had seen video of him and I gotta tell ya, well built, starting QB for Auburn, and he is a good looking kid, hope they keep a lock on his dorm room til the season is over.
