I think Freeze has been pretty open about everything so far so when he is ready to announce who the 2 is he will. Us trying to speculate on who those 2 may be I kind of strange. I could understand it under Gus because he wouldn’t have tell anything. Freeze seems to operate differently. We will know when he knows and I expect that by mid week this week.
If I were to speculate that’s all it would be but doing so I would venture to guess it’s not about Robby or Thorne they made the push today it was probably Holden. The other 2 were the expected 2 man battle. Sounds like the offense was very inconsistent so possibly Holden showed maturity and good decision making under some pressure and others making poor plays around him since we have heard about drops.
But who knows.

I think you're dyslexic.

I understand that just saying we really have no reason to with Hugh.

we seem to forget when he goes live....so does the ball.....quite frequently into the hands of the opposition defenders
If you remember, some of my useless drivel from last year, one of my main complaints on Robbie was that he doesn’t learn from his mistakes. And that was focus. Mostly on the way he carries the ball. He never changed anything even after he fumbled so many times. That is not, what we need leading all these good players. Like I said earlier, I am really pulling for him to be the guy. His athleticism brings a lot, but I’m still not convinced that he can lead a SEC team. I hope I’m wrong. I think he’s our best chance of being a good to great team if he can improve his play. Oh, and learn how to throw the ball . That’s all.

I read that as Throne might’ve dropped to 3rd team behind Robby and Holden.
Pretty rare to go from QB1 to QB3 in one scrimmage. Especially if Freeze had his mind made up right before it.
But I don’t know how anyone’s speculating any kinda order from that comment. We didn’t have a baseline in the first place.

And how do you know he was QB1 before the scrimmage? He was a 2 year starter at MSU and was about to be benched. There was a reason for that.

I was just commenting on boro’s take.

He was clearly Qb1 before the scrimmage. He was the 1st one on the field and he was with the 1s. If i were a betting man I'd say he is Qb1 when we play UMass in a weeks.

I don’t which is why I said it’s hard to judge this without a baseline beforehand.
But indications were he was QB1 and you said he fell below Robby and Holden which also implies he was QB1 because you can’t fall below someone you already were below.

He was ahead of Holden, probably.

The QB situation will work itself out.
What popped out to me in comments was tackling on the back end of the defense. Couple things why are they getting to the back end and was that the young guys that need the reps.

No he wasn’t. Hence why there have been 3 QBs getting 1st team reps.

I believe this was said about the backs getting there and the back end was missing tackles. Listened to Lockedon AU today and he stated that word was Battie was balling out and was hard to tackle. Take that for what it is worth. So it will be interesting to see him play. I am sure our backs are tough to take down.

Sounds like many were hard to tackle.
