Scrimmage was moved back to JHS. Should get some decent info. It's open to letterman and there are a lot of former players that frequent the Tiger Ticket Board on 247

Hopefully we start getting some rumors out of the scrimmage. Seems there are always a few hardcore fans that are able to view

Robbie has made some big plays with his legs. Alston had a 65 yard td run

If these are true then sounds like A-Day where our DL couldn’t slow anything down.

You kinda want a little success on both sides and the defense should be ahead of the offense at this point in camp

Excellent. Perfect time to psychoanalyze every play to determine if one side of the ball is just really good or the other is really bad. Ahhh, good to be back in football season again.

Yeah. Without knowing if it's 1s vs 1s it's hard to take too much from it but the 1st team ol is having a very good day against somebody. Ashford also having a good scrimmage. A few really nice passes including a TD to Mardner

I think Thorne will start once the season starts, Geriner second string getting a decent amount of snaps in case Thorne goes down. Robby comes in for the read option with SPECIFIC pass plays available, if those plays are not open he runs or hands off. Dont ask him to read the entire defense and make decisions, and for goodness sake carry the football correctly.

When asked about Geriner, Philip Montgomery warmed my heart with the exact things Freeze said he wants in a QB. He said "everyone knows Holden throws a pretty ball, BUT what impresses me is he reads the offense correctly and makes the right decision".

Geriner with a td pass to Shorter. Thorne has apparently been struggling a little and the secondary has looked strong. Guessing there's some correlation there

A couple reports of good/great throws by Robby and then one or him missing a wide open man by 10 yards. Consistency continuing to be an issue.

No and he's not going against the 1st team defense either from my understanding but he's looked good from what I've read

Awesome! The league is fun and way better than professional fantasy.. I figure we can do a 6 team league if needed.

Anybody else want to join?

Per Hoke, Holden has looked like the best QB today and the first team offense has run the ball so well that Thorne hasn’t had many opportunities to throw downfield.

That also confirms what most expected, run game should be pretty strong but run defense will likely be this defense’s achilles.

Not trying to start an argument but Hoke is full of shite then.

A fact finding scrimmage doesn't depend on down and distance and other circumstances.

Freeze wants to see it all. Would not surprise me if he specifically scrimmaged 3rd and 10.

Does anyone know if there are recruits at the scrimmage or is this a dead period?

Geriner coming in hawt.

Look for him to be holden onto the QB1 job.

That is what I hear as well.

I think Robby is the odd man out. He really needed to show consistency in his passing.
