That is Finley's assessment. Has a lot of tools, but he is raw. Pocket Passer. Was never going to be a Cam.

True, but I would add opposing fans all think the same. Many LSU fans were disappointed to find out Finley was not fleet footed and not their Cam.

4* S Tre Donaldson is OV’ing in June. He’s also a 4* PG and he just picked up an offer from Bruce since we missed on Scoot.

Our OL room is also very upperclassmen heavy. 11 of the 15 are JR+
The other are 3 guards and 1 tackle: Tate Johnson, Avery Jernigan, Keiondre Jones, and Garner Langlo
I’m betting that beyond the quality issue, they’re really only looking at Tackles. And likely only guys with a ton of eligibility to help balance out that room.

They passed on a few OL transfers (and RBs too) earlier because there was supposed to be some good players who transferred after spring practice... seems like in hindsight we should have made a push earlier, because so far not many good OTs are transferring.
Ingram is still the RB to watch, maybe the guy from Nebraska if we don't get Ingram.
Agreed about seeing another DB transfer name pop up. I still don't understand it. Our defense has been really good for years, was really young last year but still solid and expected to get better.. but here we are

Believe it or not I think FSU has had poorer success than AU over the last 5-7 years with OL. IIRC Taggart went one class signing zero OL and another signing two.

..and both these coaches are gone.
