Staff has alluded to wanting more help in the secondary. Seems like a fit

It would also be great to have an experienced player that knows Mason's D and what he wants from it. He could be a great on the field coach for the team.

I mean, we weren't chopped liver. We haven't been that since Chiz's final year. 2013 and 2017 come to mind. Who doesn't want more? I get it.
For some reason I visualize you walking around and at your computer wearing a Freddy Kruger knife-glove pecking out responses.

Agree. It will be interesting to see who we pick-up and who leaves AU. The staff is tracking Council and his rehab progress and I'm hopeful he might step-in at center.

Do we have any legit OL or WR targets in the Transfer Portal ???

Probably, but the reports have been sparse. Coaches have mentioned needing help at a ton of spots so we know they’re looking but we don’t know exactly who yet

That would give us a very stout interior line. If someone can step up at right tackle then Hamm could give a nice breather to the two guards or start. We all know the problem is at tackle. Is Zeier doing anything, I know he hurt his knee, but its been a year.
I still think we will be okay at receiver, go back and look at the rankings of some of the fellas on the roster. Surely some summer practice in a new offense will show results in the fall.

2021 4* WR Shadrach Banks, former HS teammate of Dee Davis, is in the transfer portal. He was at A&M. No clue what the new staff thinks of him but he was recruited by the old staff

Yep. KN @247 hears the staff will evaluate him

If he is good we should take him, A) we need help at the WR position, and B) a teammate of Dee might help give him more confidence/familiarity or keep from being homesick

Plus those two might be more ready when needed this fall than any other two on offense.

I think Shad is a guy you have to take unless something happened at A&M. Which is possible
Sounds like TCU is the team to watch here

Bunch of minor recruiting news to recap. Going to do that later as well as work on the target list on the first page
