Uat and thUGA are loaded with those guys. Just look at how many uat thugs were trying to pick fights in the IB. Need the guys to do the dirty work, if you want to win championships.

Don't they have family or something reach out to colleges they want to attend and basically work it out and then they enter?

Hence why there was the mention that we were in contact with an OT in the portal....wonder who that is? Cant believe Quick would chose tech over us.

That’s operating under the assumption that we wanted him. All reports are that he really struggled at bama and had trouble gaining weight. We need more than just a warm body with a good high school rating.

Jaden Haselwood has entered the portal. Was a 5* WR that played at OU. Also young.

Did he do anything on the field?

Why does it seem like he was in class with Pickens? He’s an upperclassman right?

He was. He was in the 2019 class. I thought he was younger, actually.

So Mike Bobo is out as OC. How does this affect recruiting? Surely Geriner is solid, right?

Too early to know about impact on recruits, honestly. But I imagine Geriner is solid. He has had things shut down for a while now and he’s an EE

Honestly Bobo Jr is the only guy we probably have to worry about. Harsin will talk to the recruits and tell them he's still here and isn't leaving so the plan doesn't change and that we/they needed a better OC and that we are upgrading.

Again, recruiting is often about relationships. I imagine our chances at Antonio Williams is probably done. Bobo was the connection there.

Obviously, Drew Bobo is a question mark with his dad gone. Those are the immediate things that come to mind

I gave up on this after the Clemson offer so this doesn't affect that to me.

Whoever we hire should be an upgrade in recruiting.. gotta imagine Harsin has a few names in mind already.. so I would really be shocked if we lose more than 1 or 2.

So hopefully whoever they hire has some good relationships with some 4* and 5* Olinemen already

I believe Drew said he wouldn’t attend Auburn if his dad was retained as OC. Even he was frustrated watching his dad call a game.

In all seriousness though, I do remember during Drew Bobo's recruitment that he was asking about the possibility of his dad not being kept by AU and if that would affect things. He said at the time that he knew it was a business and that coaching changes happen (not his exact words), So I don't think its a guarantee that he's out.

KN posted some comments from a recruits mom.. someone hook us up.
