One last nug this morning. KN learned last night that Auburn will be utilizing the portal for OL especially.
Says they know of one P5 OT that’s interested in transferring to Auburn.

To be seen how the staff closes this class or does for ‘23, but have to give them credit for getting a boatload of guys to big games this year. Sure some guys may be enjoying a free game or scouting the other team potentially, but I imagine a lot of these guys had offers to go watch UF-FSU, Michigan-OSU, LSU-A&M, etc. They chose to see what an Iron Bowl is about; hopefully we can turn that into some momentum.

Definitely center. It is where the core of the push or the protection has to come.
And we will need more than 1 experienced transfer that can bolster at least 2 parts of our line to make an improvement.

‘23 4* QB Christopher Vizzina is visiting Saturday. Second visit for this kid since Auburn offered earlier this fall.

I’m super impressed by his film. He checks all the boxes that you can check from highlight tape alone. The other stuff is intangibles

We will have to go to the portal for OL for a couple of years, which is fine. A mix of getting some HS recruits who will need a couple of years of experience in practice, while we bring in transfers to fill most of the line since so many are graduating.
Then the following year to fill the holes of the transfers graduating while the young hs recruits continue to develop.
No matter who we got this year out of high school we were still going to the portal. And we will again next year til we get some bench strength on the line.
Going to take a couple of years, so just chill a little bit.

KN with some recent 2023 notes
- Expects Auburn to land 4* OL/DL Bradyn Joiner
- 5* CB Jahlil Hurley reveals a top 5 today. He also told KN that he will commit on Jan 22. KN seems to think this is trending well for Auburn
- DB recruiting may be going so well that Auburn might not be ready to accept commitment from 4* S Sylvester Smith
