Any news from Agbo’s impression of the visit?

He leaves today so I’m sure we’ll get an interview at some point. KN said during the game that he’s had a really great visit so far

Moved into 5* CB AJ Harris’ top schools after yesterday

Quotes from 5* CB Hurley on 247

quote:

“(Even with Auburn) losing, it was still good. I still enjoyed it,” Hurley said. “They played hard at first, but just got off the gas a little bit at the end. I definitely feel it’s a place I could end up at because of the atmosphere, the coaches, and I know a couple other people that might end up there. I’ve got (receiver) Omari Kelly — he’s committed. I won’t name the other people because they’re not committed.”

quote:

“Amazing job by them,” Hurley said. “First year coming in, building it the best they can. The players haven’t known the staff that long. Both the staff and the players are getting used to each other. A couple years down the road, they should be a winning program.”

Sounds like Agbo really enjoyed his visit according to 247.

Also we're in Bradyn Joiner's top 2 ... with Georgia. Yay.

A quote from Agbo per 247

quote:

Opportunity,” he said of the message from Auburn. “We were talking about that. It’s big-time, especially with the need for offensive linemen. Just to see during the game ‘the OLine needs to get a push’ and all that good stuff, there’s most definitely a need there. I could see myself there for sure.”

Said the visit was a 10/10 and Auburn has everything he’s looking for

UGA was definitely the leader last year for Joiner but I think Auburn has taken the lead in his recruitment. His teammates on the OL being Auburn commits really helps us here

Any chance we go after the Washington coach, Lake, who just got fired? Boise State and Pedersen guy, strong recruiter

Always a possibility given the connections. He was a great position coach. I’d be surprised if he’s unemployed for long unless something weird happened off the field

His bad recruiting is why Washington is firing him though.

quote:

Washington fires coach Jimmy Lake after only 13 games. “He had to go,” source told @ActionNetworkHQ. “The recruiting was worst it’s ever been. We were fearing we’d revert back to the (Ty) Willingham days. He had very few allies here"

I’m not going to lie he is a new name to me. Apparently he is the coach that recently hit a player.

I say hit liberally because media made a bigger deal about it than it is

Yeah I’m not really concerned about that either. Maybe I’d care if it was high school

4* CB Dortch finally decommitted from Ole Miss

Doesn’t look like Auburn is pursuing. He doesn’t want to play DB in college

Hit him with a play call sheet lol. They we're just looking for an excuse to get him out.

I'm surprised by Dortch.. Guessing he wants to play WR? Rhym and Ausberry are better than him anyway imo.
