I read where he can play all 5 spots, but might be best suited at center.

A coach’s son at center? Not bad

Initially I’m thinking “it’s Bobo’s son so of course we got him” but I imagine he realizes there are pros and cons to playing under his pops. The fact of the matter is we need help on the line and I’m gonna be happy with anyone we get that can help. This is our first OL commit from this class isn’t it?? Good grief.

Bobo had a committable offer from UGA and he visited several times and spent 1 on 1 time with Kirby. Cristobal also offered him.

Anez Cooper is another story. Anyway, he’s going to be a good OL for us

Then they wasted a hell of a lot of time and resources on a guy they didn’t want

Neither of the Bobos are any good. But I guess at this point under Harsin getting an able bodied person to say they'll play football at AU is good.

Little Bobo will probably be a 3 year starter at center. He plays with a nasty streak and understandably probably is better equipped mentally then most high school linemen. We need linemen that can just play their position well. I’m impressed with Bobo more then a lot of the guys we have committed already.

Now let raid the damn portal of any linemen we can get a couple WRs, LB, and couple DBs.

We’ve complained for years about a simplistic offense:

Having a coach’s son calling out protections may exceed his stars.

Well Darren Uscher and his team certainly did a good job of getting the recruits on campus. The logistics of having them there is the simple part, its the months of preparing the coaches, culling lists of recruits, etc that is the difficult task.

Congrats to all of them.

McPherson almost hit a 70 yarder. This is some absolutely insane distance for any kicker, but especially a HS kid. No clue if he’s using a block or not but don’t even care. It opens up the sweet spot more but this thing looks like it was shot out of a cannon LINK

5* LB Drayk Bowen

quote:

“They have made it a pretty difficult decision,” Bowen said. “Obviously great football and baseball, but it also makes me feel like a second home.”

He also had this nugget on Harsin

quote:

“”I really loved getting to meet the baseball staff for the first time,” Bowen said. “They walked me through their facilities and told me some of the philosophies they had which I thought was great.

“We got to meet with Coach (Bryan) Harsin and Coach (Jeff) Schmedding, and with Coach Harsin he really talked about their ground rules about character and discipline and they want people like that. With Coach Schmedding it was more football oriented.

‘23 4* S Sylvester Smith said Auburn’s atmosphere was the best he’s ever seen and said Auburn is one of his top schools

I think we might be leading for this guy

‘23 4* ATH Khai Prean doesn’t seem like he gave an interview but KN says he was blown away by the visit. He’ll be a WR it looks like
