Also have to remember he's got the benefit of Finkley being double teamed almost every play as well. Hunter definitely has the frame.

Damn that's a name I haven't heard in a while! His film was very suspect and dude was a bean pole in HS. Had no idea he was in the League good on him.
What I recall is that Ellis Johnson and staff really liked him, but when Muschamp came in he cut Westry loose and did get Dinson from UK and 3-4 other S. Florda kids still cashing NFL checks. I do remember watching Westry at UK and being impressed. He was still a fast-twitch player with speed even though he was damn near 6'5". It was definitely weird watching him play CB.

Another guy I remember, Cardelle Flott. He was another guy... that Steele really liked but AU cut him loose in the recruiting process. I have no idea why. He started more than half of LSU's games opposite their star corner (Stingley?) as a freshman but has seemingly dissapeared the past couple of years.

Westry was a converted track guy and was very very raw. I'm glad he made it, but he also went Undrafted out of Kentucky and wasn't even invited to the Combine (despite running like 4.31 at their Pro Day at 6'4) so he clearly didn't dominate in college or anything. He spent like two full years on Dallas' practice squad (appearing in ~2-3 games) and they didn't hold onto him either.

From what I noticed last Sunday he was a zone type guy that is exceptional at run support.

Makes sense.

Any thoughts or reports on Zo Torrence? Everything sounds really positive on him and he's another guy with freakish length.

Sapp and Woody are 2 OL committed to FSU that Auburn is still pursuing. It obviously helps us lock up Eston Harris

Auburn, ND, and Ole Miss are the top 3 for Judkins.

I think he’s a take for both of those programs too.

Judkins started the season with a minion injury but he’s played the last 2 games I think and has a bunch of TDs

I still really hope we get him.. Hunter, Judkins, and Alston would be a really good group to have after Tank leaves next year. At the very least you would think he's been impressed by Tank and Hunter so far this year.

Agreed. He’s got to like how we’re using guys, especially if Shivers continues to get as many scoring opportunities as he did in game 1.

And it goes without saying that we need a top 10 kind of RB in 2023.

I think ND making his top 3 is interesting. I wish I still had paysite access, but until they do another $1 sale

On the prospect himself or where he goes?

I love him as a player. He catches the ball really well and makes plays in space. Very shifty and tough to tackle. Huge weapon in the backfield because you can leave him in the game and he can bang for short yardage drive after drive in ways that sometime like Shivers can’t.

I think he picks Auburn so long that Auburn continues to make him feel like a priority.

This is what I was looking for

Any justification on your end?

I saw where he’s visited Ole Miss 3 times since June and that’s a bit worrisome. I haven’t followed him at all but I also saw where we were first to offer.

I think our depth chart is favorable. He likes being closer to home and likes the SEC. With Shivers gone we really don’t have a RB that can do what he’s best at. Auburn has made him a priority and he likes Caddy.

He was at ND last week and Ole Miss 2 weeks prior. He’s going to take all his visits and probably decide in December. I just like where Auburn is at, personally. He’s the only back that I know of with an Auburn offer that didn’t commit somewhere else already. But I don’t have anything else more concrete to go on

Keith says Judkins is planning to announce Sept 29th so my original thought on the December timeline was wrong. He hasn’t OV’d to Auburn yet but he’s been on campus a few times, including for the Akron game

So we’ll see what happens next. I still like Auburn but the timeline makes me wonder now. I’ll try to see if the other sites have more info
