Not sure. I’d say low just because Auburn seems to be a little picky on who they want as the second guy right now.

302 yards is impressive. Him being at Big Cat as a ‘22 guy clearly shows he’s on the radar, though.

Would be cool to see another Tallassee kid at Auburn. Crazy to think the last one was Demond Washington, and he came after Junior College. IIRC, he didn’t even graduate from Tallassee. He got expelled beforehand.

So who’s on the horizon to commit?

Heard about a kid possibly coming in from Blinn College. Was at another SEC school but they wanted him to play TE and he likes QB. About 6’5” 240 with some wheels.

I think 2022 class is starting to trend up. Let’s go Harsin!

That plus no telling what HS kid steps up big this fall. With last years covid there might be a couple OL targets still under the radar.

KN continues to hear from Auburn commits that they talk a lot with 4* DL Khurtiss Perry and believe that Auburn has a good shot.

Perry, as mentioned before, is now at Pike Road with Auburn RB target Quinshon Judkins

Generally speaking, you always start high and work down your list as you determine the interest of the prospects. Add guys along the way, etc.

Nothing new here which is good to see.

And sometimes you find that diamond in the rough or someone who might be lower ranked because of different things but turns out to be that stud guy....

New rule coming to help out the transfer mess

quote:

NCAA officials are moving closer to an immediate expansion of the annual 25-person signing limit as a way for coaches to replace players they’ve lost to the burgeoning transfer portal. The NCAA Division I Football Oversight Committee is finalizing a proposal that would change the signing limit this cycle in what’s being described as a one-year waiver of relief until a permanent policy is created.

There will be a cap that hasn’t been finalized. SI.com uses 7 as an example.

quote:

For instance, a school that loses five players to the portal can sign 30 new players. A school that loses 10 players to the portal can sign 32 new signees, if the cap were seven. The replacement cap has not been finalized.

SI.com

Other permanent rule suggestions include increasing yearly scholarships to 30/32 or having separate allotments for high school and non high school recruits
