They lost to an even worse team in the first game. Everyone knows USF is bad. For whatever reason they match up well with what Bruce does.

They lost to Stetson who also beat FSU. So maybe Stetson isn’t awful. Regardless, if you look at USF roster, they are littered with transfers from good basketball schools and experience. They aren’t gonna be a good team this year but they have high caliber athletes that are capable of beating pretty much anyone any night, especially early in the season. And they are a good team defensively, so with our offensive shooting struggles they are the type of team we will struggle with. Same reason we struggled with Missouri last year

FSU is 0-3 and lost to Troy last night

Yeah I saw that, just saying that Stetson isn't some D3 school or anything. And Scott Cross kinda has Troy playing good ball.

Winthrop tonight. They went 23-9 last year. Lost to Longwood in their conference title game to end their season.
2-1 so far this year with a blowout loss to Penn State and beat Piedmont and MTSU.
They lost their two leading scorers from last year but have most everyone else back. 3 Point shooters all over the floor. They don't have much size at all so maybe Broome could get going pretty well. They also turn the ball over a lot so hopefully that can spark our offense a little bit.
Edit: Oh and BP said Westry might give it a go tonight but only expect 10-15 minutes to get his feet wet.
