Think they gassed out in a 48 minute game against pros after having just played another game the day prior.

They actually didnt look gassed , still gelling and getting to mid-season form. Made some bad shots and bad switches on defense that led to great shots by Isreal. Also, Isreal has 2 or 3 players that were NBA draft picks and a top ten pick went off the 2nd half and had another NBA pick that did great helping him.

Can't be undersold how good their ball movement was. Slightest him of committing to a double team they just ate us alive.

No college team is capable of doing that.

Great experience. I’m glad the team hung in there and finished the trip. They’ll be better for it down the road.

We’ve got to improve in the back court

The back court is what it is at this point.

They’ll win us some games and they’ll likely lose us a few too. Overall, they’ll be fine.

It’ll be nice to watch Tre Donaldson and Chance Westry develop and contribute. That’s our future.

To me Zep, KD, and Wen all look like they have improved. Add Chance and Tre in and I think we will be fine as well. If they continue to develop the rest of fall and into and during the season they could be a strength.

This team can be a very fun team with balanced scoring. We will probably be able to win any game we play this upcoming season but won't go undefeated.

I just love having a good-great basketball program.

I like them too, but all 5 of those guys need to shoot a thousand 3-pt shots a day until the season starts. We desperately need to improve our game behind the arc. Flanigan isn’t going to be able to do it. Just doesn’t have the mechanics.

That’s our largest hole right now and I hate that we didn’t find an answer in the portal. We’re inevitably going to have games where we shoot 20% from 3 on 30 attempts and lose.

I also think some unselfish play will get better shots. That needs to come from Wen and KD. Give up a decent shot for a good shot especially when a defense is trying to recover.

Flanigan needs to put up just enough 3 pointers so he can pump fake and go, if it's clear without having to make a move get to the rim, if now kick back or kick out to someone. Simplify the game. I have no worries with JayWill. You get what you get with him on the floor he's above average at everything but not good-great at anything.

I completely agree they look improved but agree with others that I wish we had more 3 point shooting. It’s not mandatory but it sure would make things easier for this bunch if you had one elite shooter at one of the guard spots. Oh well, gonna have to play around it.

Rich man’s problems. I fully expect to challenge for another SEC title, and top 4 or 5 seed lines in the big dance given what I’ve seen out of Traore, Westry, and Broome. More great finds from the staff.

Wen still really struggles with size, but he won’t face those kinds of guard too often. More troubling was KD to me. He keeps taking bad shots.

KD would be perfect if he took like 40% less 3 point shots and never took any off the dribble

That was a team full of pros and they looked like it. We really had no answer for Deni Avdija with his size and length. Luckily we probably won't see anyone with his combo of measurables and skill this season

Chet Holmgren is out for the season. Buyer’s remorse in a big package already.

Sounds like we are out of the mix for Yates.
