Zep is more of a 2 to me. Maybe knock down some open shots and guard the best penetrator on the other team. Maybe Westry can be the primary initiator of offense when WG is not in the game? Other candidates would be J Williams or a hopefully improved Flan

I guess we will be Kentucky's super bowl and they will be campingbiut5

He's the best and safest ball handler on the team

Safest yes. But safest doesn’t always and in fact rarely means best. Our offense struggled much of the time when he was our primary initiator of offense.

Yes and it looks like those guys are having fun playing together and getting after it. Iron sharpens iron. I think Zep, Wen and KD make a big step this year. Leadership, continuity, mentoring the newbies and setting the tone, and with their hustle and play on the court in practice and come game time. Can't wait! WDE.
Also looking forward to hearing about their trip and how they play against some quality competition about as far away from Neville Arena as you can get. And what a trip of a lifetime. Some of these guys have not traveled much. Talk about being introduced to a different culture, history, religion, languages, food, people. Man. It's going to absolutely blow some of these kids' minds and change their lives. CBP really is AUsome.

Chance Westry physically looks the part of a future NBA player. I'm ready to see how he plays

Yeah he stood out to me too. If his 3 pt shot can be consistent he will make himself a lot of money.

I think Westry can close his eyes, tie one hand behind his back and make more threes than Cambridge.

Correct and he’s not even a good shooter at this point.
I think we see more uptempo on offense this year. Jabari and Walker were great but not in the speed game. Cut down on bad shots, offensive rebound, and run. That’s how I see up rounding out by the time conference play starts. Yohan is a better ball handler then Jabari was but not the shooter.

the thing that concerns me with westry is hes one of those guys who likes to over dribble and drive. some highlights reels show him doing that and him getting caught up in traffic that led to turnover

I don’t think Westry will start to begin the season so he can ease in. The Israel trip is gonna be so good for the young players.

"I currently have an expert pick for Tennessee, but that will be changing. As things stand, I may give Auburn a slight lead in this recruitment; however, when John Calipari locks in on a player, he is tough to beat."
These are just bait articles in my opinion. In two sentences Jamie Shaw essentially said enough to keep 3 fanbases feeling good about their chances while not really offering any real information about why any of them should feel good.
