Getting JayWill back in the 2nd half will help tremendously against that zone they are trying to throw at us. He knows to get to the FT line and play the high low game with him and Broome

For sure, they’re just sitting in zone daring us to shoot. Absolutely need him to hurt them in the middle of that zone.
Bruce had us with a smaller lineup until KD got hurt. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some rotation with JWill out where Flan is in the middle and Lior on the wing in case they cheat or help.

Not a great or bad first half. need to stay out of foul trouble and create chaos seemed that was the difference while we were on defense.
Need to hit a few of the open shots and finish at the rim.
I expect Iowa to adjust and drive to the basket even more.

We need to keep contesting shots deep too. Iowa can get hot from 3 quickly and we all know we aren’t built for a track meet.

No doubt, they look slow and less physical. I just wish we made better decisions on offense at times. If we move the ball better and make them defend we can wear them down this second half.

Not that it means much but Iowa is hitting everything in these half time warm ups. Pregame they were missing a good many.
