If Lunardi's 7 seeds are correct Michigan State could very well be our opponent in round 1. The other 7's are all teams we have already played this year and 2 of them are SEC. Only other real possibilities are Iowa/FAU/Maryland jumping up or down a seed line

I loved the announcers that petted on Bruce yesterday during a timeout.

X’s and O’s
Recruiting
Motivating

He can do it all!

We did run some good stuff after TOs… in second half, Williams got an easy look that he missed… and Broome scored off an in bound… even the play Bruce drew up for Wendell was a good look.

Bruce is really good at X’s and O’s.. when he relies upon them. The weakness comes when he trusts lesser players to get buckets without the X’s and O’s. Worked with better rosters, but not as much with this one. And we know how that aspect plays into his ability to recruit, but the weakness is that he has seemingly missed on a couple of evals lately

I'm not hating on Wendell, but he hasn't produced in big moments. There is now a two minute video of crunchtime failures of just him. Someone else deserves a chance to make a play in the moment. Flan had a hot hand last night. Give him a shot to make a play.

Recruiting update from JLee. Said from what he’s heard the staff is still recruiting guys in the 2024 class but the only one they’re really pushing for is Bidunga.

So sounds like they are content with the 3 they have and would take an elite guy like Bidunga, but don’t want too many freshman and will fill the following team out with portal guys. Obviously things could change if someone they don’t expect to transfer out ends up doing so, but that’s way in the future.

We haven’t won an SEC tournament game two straight seasons.

Tough times on the plains.

And we won 4 straight to win it the last time we played in it before then.

It is just a let down, and I feel like we should be better than this. We should be to the point where we at least don't play until Friday. Bruce needs to change something next year, because the current system is getting stale and is starting to remind me of the Gus years in football.

Follow up recruiting nugget from Hoke. He believes Auburn may lead for Bidunga. Keep in mind there’s a chance he ends up reclassifying too.

I think I read we were selling Bidunga on being a 4, which I don’t love but I’ve also only seen like 5 minutes of film.

I could definitely see him as a 4. I prefer our 4's be able to shoot and stretch the floor, and he can't yet even though his shot looks like it will come along.. but he's extremely smart with the ball and can take you off a couple dribbles and finishes with exceptional touch around the rim and within 6-8 feet. He definitely makes more sense at the 4 than Traore to me but that's not saying much at this juncture

If Vandy hangs on we will likely be out of the NCAA

Vandy deserves it more than us. We have barely played with a pulse the last month and a half. And even when we did we lost
