Getting 40 balled by an average UK team
I'm sorry but this is ludicrous. They are hitting their stride late. Solid all around team that I wouldn't call average

Wasn’t able to watch any of the second half (thank goodness) but looking at the stats, they killed us on the boards and shot nearly twice our shooting percentage.
This is not one I thought we’d win but also didn’t think we’d get blasted like that. We can forget about us winning midweek so we really need to beat UT at home.

I like Broome but he is really good for about 15 minutes and absolutely abominable for the other 10 he normally plays. Not sure he can ever be in better shape if he can’t be at this point of a college hoops season

It’s not shape it’s athleticism for Broome. He’s not athletic just tall. But has a high skill level. So kind of a weird player

Weird that Broome has a better rebound % than Kessler did. I always felt Kessler did a good job on the glass and have never felt that with Broome. Probably helped Kessler that he had Smith helping him down there who was sneaky good on the glass pulling down tough rebounds

Do we need to beat UT to make the tournament?

UK may be best tm in our League based on recent play., especially when they shoot like today.

Yes imo. Some think we could be in Dayton if we lose all 3 but I just don’t see it

I think we need 1 win after losing by 40 basically
Posted on 2/25/23 at 6:09 pm to CorchJay
Yeah I bet we tumble to like 39ish in the net

I think so too. We were in most likely even if we lost out but that was before this became a blowout.

I had 39 in my head as well. Which put you way way on the bubble. 35 and up you’re usually in. 35 and below bubble

I don’t think we are in bc we have 2 bad losses(Vandy and UGA) and our best wins are Mizzou and Northwestern.
We need to win 2 more games to play in first 4.

Thank God I had baseball today. Getting 40 balled by an average UK team sucks. And I’m the one who thought we had a chance if we could handle Oscar. Bring on the hate Let’s get negative up in this bitch. Cut the whole damn roster
I could see this train-wreck a mile away when I watched us play Memphis in Atlanta. Awful basketball team with no offensive identity.

Not much. But it doesn’t help recruiting future players when our team is getting wiped out like this. We’ve got some good guards coming in but that doesn’t solve the serious front court issues.

Making the tourney is always good. It’s more than just like, making a bowl game in football. It’s good and it’s a big deal. Always better for recruiting
