Losing bad in Tuscaloosa will have no real bearing on where we end up imo… and I agree, we should hang in at UK… wish that game was in a week night… the rupp crowds hit different on the weekend.

I went in 2019. It was a gloomy, cold day and we played like horse manure… then reeled off like 14 straight W’s or whatever it was to the final four. If you would’ve told me that leaving Rupp, I would’ve laughed.

I remember Jang being pissed in this thread because Bruce apologized to UK fans for the way we played. If I recall correctly PJ Washington blew the scout wide open by hitting like 2-3 threes in the first two minutes and it was a disaster from there

Yes he did. He apologized to UK fans because we didn’t play up to Rupp’s standards. He is way too goo goo eyed by that place.

Folks felt good about that trip up there in 2019… we had come back and played well vs them in auburn… and we were showing some signs of turning the corner.
Then we didn’t show up
I said it earlier, but theres a difference between playing in rupp on the weekday vs the weekend… feels like it’s always a weekend game for us.
