What has failed up to this point of the season is Bruce relying on depth. That is for sure.
His “your 5 can beat my 5, but my 10 can beat your 10” isn’t working out.

Because historically, depth has absolutely played a factor.
I’d even argue this year our 10 man rotation has won us games against teams that play 3 or 4 guys 30+ mpg.

Well I’m talking about this year. Our depth of pieces has no real advantage when our first five really isn’t that great already, and the second 5 is worst than the first five.

I agree the depth isn’t that great. Mainly because Traore and Westry have given basically nothing. Bruce expected a lot from those two and especially Westry. And a lot of us fans probably expected even more than he did

It is things like this is why Bruce has earned every penny we pay him. The amount of exposure Auburn gets would cost way more in advertising. Please don’t ever compare this to what happens in football.

Bruce Pearl is the best coaching hire Auburn has made since Pat Dye IMO.
He completely changed the trajectory of the Auburn basketball program, just like Dye did in football.
