Bruce just hasn’t been recruiting shooters or trying to pick them up in the portal. Hope Aden Holloway changes that trend. He kinda just hit the jackpot with Jabari last season.

Zep should be starting PG and not sure who our 2 is, maybe Wendell. We need Traore to step up as a back up PF and need Jaylin to be more aggressive offensively as the 3. It looks like KD’s PT has been limited which is necessary!

And one of our best 3 teams in that time frame didn’t get a chance to play in the tournament because Covid

This past class for them was elite, no doubt. 23’ class isn’t that impressive. I’ll give Oats credit though. He values shooting over everything followed by hustle (it appears Bruce has these flipped) and isn’t afraid to hurt feelings and process people (Bruce is as loyal as hell).

This just isn’t true. He has certainly tried to recruit shooters. We were linked to like 4 including Sears who is at Bama this past offseason. Jamal Johnson and Powell are elsewhere

God that team was one you dream of for a tourney. Was starting to play really good ball, full of veterans, great defense, and had old guards.

Probably the wise route. This team sucks at shooting and the likelihood of them getting hot on the road in a hostile environment isn’t high. Can we go back to that ballroom we played in earlier in the year?

We were 24/69 from the field and 6/28 from 3 tonight. There’s just no way to compete in the SEC when a team shoots that poorly. That’s an every-single-night-out thing for us now. We can rebound them, out rebound them on the offensive glass, create turnovers, doesn’t matter. When you can’t shoot, you can’t win. We are #329 in the country from 3-pt range at 29%. That’s not bad, it’s abysmal. Bruce needs a staff shake up.
