Cooper was phenomenal. Mccormick was great. WG just isn’t quite as good

It is ok to have one guard under 6 foot which is when we have been most successful, Harper, canty, McCormick years. But then you had Samir and Bryce who were both 6’ 2-6’3. You cant have all 4 of your best guards 5’10 and shorter in todays game. Just sets you up for failure

I’m pretty sure they are worse than us statistically but my eyes tell me we are in a world of trouble in SEC play. Mississippi State is bad on offense but I think they are at or near the top in the SEC in defense.

Wen is the only player under 6’ just most 2 guards are now 6’3”-6’6” both our 2 guards are 6’ and 6’1” and KD can’t shoot and Zep can’t drive

True but their scoring defense is 10ppg better than ours. That’s a huge difference. They can afford to be a little bad on offense.

They have also played a shite schedule. Not even comparable.

I like Tre Donaldson. He's gonna be an incredible backup PG for many years. He will be good defensively and protect the ball. He will develop a shot as well

I feel good about the future with Tre, but we need a ton of help at the 2 and 3. Would be amazing if we snagged Ace Bailey and he reclassified. Two big ifs.
We should lose a good many guys this year so hopefully we snag some guys from the portal that can shoot.
